Watched when I got home yesterday.
Impressed.
Thought is was pretty well informed. Stat on screen showed our tenancy at Ricoh ending next year, academy losing home end of this year, training ground being sold with planning permission applied for for 75 homes.
Words used such as "disgrace" to describe our plight/owners and constant reference to the SISU hedge fund.
Best bit for me, and god knows how somebody got hold of it, was the end montage being played out to Starship, "Nothings Gonna Stop Us"... which for our younger members was #1 in charts in 87 when we won the FA cup and also played out the tv airing of the 87 final too! (Can't remember which channel... used to be on ITV and BBC!)
I know some will voice their dislike for it, Prutton, got score wrong towards end!.... but if watched through ( pre , ht and post game) thought they did us real justice!

Watched it several times today.

Prutton couldn't get the opening line to the show right and looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him up!

Saw at the end when he announced City as 1-0 winners!

Don Goodman seems to have a soft spot for us, certainly doesn't hold back on the state of the club.

Channel 5 highlights show had better player and manager interviews.

1987 Cup final was screened on both BBC1 & ITV as I remember switching between the 2. The different channels credited Tottenham 2nd goal before half to different goal scorers, one Mabbut the other a killer o.g.

On 2 occasions on Sky yesterday, as the players were making their way up the steps to get the trophy and just before an ad break, they mentioned Coventry City 1-0 winners.

Does anyone know the woman next to Fisher at the game? She's been pictured with him a lot, one person said it was Joy, but I'm 99% confident it's not.

It's not a proper football league tie without either Peter Beagrie in the studio or Don Goodman on commentary calling us 'Covenree'.

Who was the Irish fella they had in the studio? Only caught a few seconds and couldn't place him

If she's next to Fisher Laura Deering by any chance?

It's not Deering. She's got reddy brown hair. Normally curly. A fair bit younger too.

Luckily Beagrie who hates us was not on - if this was Pruttons try out as lead he struggled !
