Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations (2 Viewers)

I agree OSB seems very balanced. He has some connections and yet an agenda from him doesn't come across.
My point though is agenda or not I would prefer people on here providing that information so I can make my own assessment of it.
I have no issue with people debating what they say challenging it or supporting it.
What's annoying is childish goading, shouting people down and abuse.
The only outcome to that is you stop hearing what the person has to say as they are either replying to the goading in similar ilk or they just no longer bother.

You must be reading things where actual points are being put forward? What information is being provided?

Not sure I understand what you are saying.
However when PWKH used to confirm whether something had or had not happened.
Or like Simon negating a rumour.
Not sure about Stuart Linnell.
What happened to him whilst he posted on here?

It still wouldn't surprised me if Mr Hoffman and Elliot. Have something agreed with Wasps so they can entice a backer for when SISU are ready to walk away.

Again, pwkh said only things he wanted people to know. He also said things he wanted people to repeat.

What was actually worthwhile?

There is no truth, only representation.

That applies for all of us btw, OSB included...

Now if I were PWKH, I'd have dispensed with an 'official' acount full-stop, and just trolled merrily away... at least with the one under his name, yu were fully aware he came with baggage.

But also insight, even if that insight is how he said things, not necessarily what he said.

Quite a few times he clarified situations. Which was very useful. You personally may not have liked it but quite a few people did and at least you had the opportunity to make you own mind up.

Do you have any examples?

How many of them turned out to be bollocks?

You tell me you run the site, how many turned out to be incorrect and how many turned out to be correct?
Fact of the matter is on occasions he cleared things up. Other times it seems you felt what he said wasn't true. That's fair enough at least you got the chance to form an opinion

Here for example something cleared up for Torch about if an invoice has been sent or not.

Already below.
However you were an avid user at the site at the time. So I shouldn't have to provide examples to you or Nick. That at PWKH posted stuff on here that people found interesting, useful and that stimulated debate. Others probably I am guessing yourself certainly it seems Nick disagreed with what he posted.
It is still a better forum having it on here than not.

Simon Gilbert wasn't hounded off here. He spoke of a free press. Turned out CET and CCC kept the bailout secret to avoid any potential backlash from the public. After this, Simon disappeared. This has been explained Dongo. The admiration for a local journalist who uses the club and it's fans for his own career gain is baffling.

So, Simon, why is it you're back on here?

It's of no benefit if someone is posting untruths. It just muddies the water. On the other hand, it can get people worked up. Maybe that's why Simon is back.....

I am glad he is back and am more than capable of making my own mind up about what he posts.
As I say the more the merrier on here Les Reid, Joy, Tim Gary Hoffman whoever.
Let's hear their views and make our own minds up.

Occurred to me that Hoffman has in the past expressed a willingness to work with SISU, or at least not against them. Not beyond the realms of possibility that he might be negotiating with Wasps about extending our stay at the Ricoh on the clubs behalf.

The only way he would possibly even entertain that idea is if there was some financial beneift to him.

That's nice to know. Always find life a bit better when you are nice to people.

What do you think of the way Mr Gilbert conducts himself on social media? Do you think he is childish?

Forget that, Wasps won't entertain sisu while the legals are happening they have no need to alter their stance, 100% in sisu's court that one.

I registered for twitter but found it a bit lame to be fair. So I am on it, but I don't use it.
The things that are posted on here about comments on twitter sounded a bit childish from both Simon and the CCFC head of comms. However it's hard for me to say exactly without reading it all in context.
Same with Facebook I am not on any of these Facebook pages.

They are in a lot of debt, i'd say that's a pretty strong reason to soften their stance and with the legals going on an intermediary like Hoffman might make sense. It's just a theory that fits the circumstances though. As others have said, the meeting was probably just two associates having a coffee.
