..... because the people putting an offer in would run it better and will be able to work with all parties from day one ?
You said you don't know any of the details so how can you state as fact it would be better. For all we know they've looked at your beloved Wasps and decided that's a good way forward and will move us 90 miles away.

Its ridiculous to expect people to blindly support something when we've been given absolutely no information.

Some people seem to be giddy with the news that this is turning out to be bollocks. How odd.

Its seems people are just fucked off with constant rumours being bull, and still being left with the same fucking awful owners.
Lets face it after so many false dawns we all suspected it would lead to fuck all. Lets hope one day soon that changes.

SISU caused those problems. I'd rather have someone new tackle them. I want SISU to fuck off out of our club as soon as possible.

It is annoying when multimillionaire city fans are offering magic beans for the club when they know full well that will mean SISU stay in charge.
How do you know what they were offering?

Same question needs to be asked. If there is no alternative who would you rather have, Sisu carry on or Hoffman and Elliot?

No I remember your reactions quite clearly when people were asking Michael fairly innocuous questions regarding the KCIC offer.

What's that got to do with what's happening or not happening now? You're talking about something that happened over four years ago. We're also in completely different places. That was a very public bid. We knew for sure something was happening. There was at least something to debate. People are lining ducks up. They don't even know if there's anything in these rumours yet they are already making lists of who, what, why and where the "bid" consists of under one breath while dismissing it as Italia wumming under the other. Yet you want to accuse me of doing some stupid.

The problem I had with the flack MO was far deeper than the KCIC bid. My problem was with posters constantly slating those trying while doing fuck all themselves while accusing our fan base of being fickle while being more fickle than anyone themselves. I was also equally as defensive about RS and the GCBTTR campaign, especially when they had a candidate running against AL in council elections. Mainly because I'm not fickle and I appreciated Robs efforts as much as I did Michael's. You seem to have conveniently forgotten that in a very fickle way though.

So stop talking bollocks. If there is a bid and the details come out I'll judge then and not line my ducks up in advance.

Are you on contract for how many times you can mention ducks in your posts?

Should we not be concerned who might follow then? Unbelievable. Proves the point that people will accept anyone but SISU irrelevant that they may turn out to be just as bad.
S**U will be known as S**U, as saying S**U will get me accused of just saying S**U

So what you are saying is unless someone can categorically prove beyond doubt they can take The club forward (despite them not actually being in a position to do so until they have ownership) we should stick with S**U.
It is widely regarded and accepted in football circles that we currently have the worst owners in the football league,
This maybe open to debate but is nevertheless a valid opinion, the chances of us replacing them with the new
Worst owners in football is surely akin to winning the lottery two weeks running.
Having said that this is CCFC we're talking about:emoji_scream:

Even so I'd take my chances.

I'm just trying to keep the duck mentioned count up with the number actually being lined up. I'm still lagging way behind. Give us a hand Moff and mention ducks a few times in your post's would you ;)

Because you're doing the same thing. As is SBK. One trick Tony.

i'm losing track of all these campaigns.

Pretty sure I saw one from the club a few weeks ago about not driving the games, but using public transport, was that right ?

sure it was something like the "better use the trains" campaign.

At least I assumed it was that when they were talking about BUTTS

You are taking things to ridiculous extremes. Realistically how can any one who comes in be worse than Sisu? What could they possibly do that would send us in an even worse direction than the one we are currently going in? You would think that if it is true that a group of people are putting in their own money, knowing that we are a basket case that they would be doing it for love rather than profit. (Hard to see any way money could be made from this club with its currant state).

I think a game of table football could settle this one.

What am I actually doing? Or should I say what do you actually think I'm doing? From my point of view all I think I'm doing is pointing out that people are speculating on the details of something that is no more than speculation itself. It's not nearly the same as what happened with the KCIC bid. They may as well be arguing about what alien life forms are on the planet Zog. They don't even know if there is a planet Zog and if there was does it have the right ingredients to support life but they'll debate it anyway and turn on anyone who dare says shouldn't you find out if there is a planet Zog first.

CCFC Finance Director

No real surprise really. If Reid is right and he seems to be the official mouth piece of TF & CCFC there are a number of implications I take from his article

- that there have been offers just not ones that meet SISU's valuation
- that any offer involving Hoffman will not be welcomed
- that dual standards on transparency apply
- that TF & SISU are feeling some pressure

I would have thought there was more for the owners to worry about than a bit of internet speculation. How long till the Academy is homeless (TF going to announce new home 3 weeks ago was he not) How long till Ricoh deal finishes? Will be very interesting to see how they convince the FA & FL there are solutions in the offing (that said the FA & FL will probably just take the clubs word for it). If no deal on Ricoh then how will they sign off the 2017 financials (or is there a small alternative planned) - at some point Wasps will feel sufficiently comfortable to conclude CCFC are not worth the bother I would think

Does Mr Reid actually talk with all the parties involved or does he only talk at some of them? He always seems to make it personal. I do find that Reid's articles are overtly critical of everyone other than TF or SISU. It seems to needle him if someone disagrees with him and he is unwilling to let go of it. Have read the David Johnson interview and do not take it as talking up administration, its more saying being ready should various scenarios happen - planning ahead. But I am sure others can look at it differently. Largely the antagonism and the constant repeating the same diatribe puts me off reading his output. Would love him to actually detail what it is other than JR2 that is currently in dispute. Because the Ricoh, Academy, BPA are not actually disputes they are finite deals that are ending or not even started, and the club & owners need to put forward/progress alternatives. That will require some transparency, funding, planning and credibility (Sound familiar?)....... not to mention some element of positive partnership & humility. Yes a few egos might need to be massaged by CCFC but this is about getting a viable future isn't it, not raking over history cloaked by a few as a "multi party dispute" and long since replaced by desperate need

Here is a thought, the journalists of this City are a fundamental part of this saga and therefore part of the solution. Doesn't bode well in my opinion

There is no solution unless the owners are prepared to compromise, you can expect it from the other parties ( quite rightly) as much as you like but it will take all sides to compromise for ccfc to move forward.

Cant help but feel disappointed, discouraged and frustrated by it all

any how just my opinion nothing more

I genuinely don't get all the negativity and caution attributed to any possible new owners,
FFS look at the state of us now, if something doesn't change soon we will lose this club.
What could be worse, what is it that they might do, what horrors could befall our club if
Such a thing were to happen .
I for one would bite the hand off anyone willing too set us free from this never ending
Fucking nightmare.

A lot of positioning and posturing that you would expect in any takeover or invest of any business, difference here is that when sporting teams are involved it is more emotively charged, PR is essential for either side to get the most value for their money, the fact that SISU have even come out and addressed this in such language suggests to me that their position is/has changed.

Have they decided they've had enough and are ready to move on and a posturing for the best possible price/agreement?

On a side note, OSB maybe one for you, ST sales before and after any prospective "takeover" date, would it be right to assume they are entitled to all ST sales made to the date of takeover? If so surely they will hold out until the start of the season when all tickets have been purchased? Would this then have an effect on any possible price?

I'm quite looking forward to seeing this forum apologising to Italia tomorrow morning... Should be interesting to say the least. Who has the bollocks to say sorry then?
*Edit* I think we all know the ones that won't.

[QUOTE

The club needs a fresh start. No Elliott, no Hoffman, none of the old faces that have been here while the club has sank. Sorry if that upsets a few but I don't see Hoffman or Elliott as heroes.
In fairness to Hoffman and Elliott they were not part director wise to the old Richardson/ McGinnity regime that took those catastrophic decisions such as selling HR etc. Elliott was an associate director mainly on the PR side of things and I think Hoffman was a vice- president or something similar,[/QUOTE]

Just get rid of Sisu. I don't care who it is.
Once we wrestle the club off them it will have a chance of surviving.
CCC, Wasps and whoever will be with us again.

Exactly how I feel too. We need to break free from Sisu. After that there is at least some hope for a brighter future.

now i wonder if the offer isnt credible or sisu are just being cunts over every little thing?

i will get pelters from this but my gut feeling if i could control all fans would be to not buy a ST yet, see if we can make them sweat and accept a deal perhaps. seems there are people out there who want us.

of course i could be wrong and the bid just isnt good enough
