Surprisingly a bit of a non story with the "fight til the game is won" line being quoted for the 100th time.

Gary Hoffman is preparing a third bid for Coventry City despite a period of radio silence.

There has been no fresh bid for the Sky Blues from Mr Hoffman this week, and nothing is expected to materialise over the weekend.

But it is understood Mr Hoffman’s desire to secure the club has not faltered and work is continuing behind the scenes.

Supporters have been keen to know more about the latest developments after the former CCFC vice chairman’s consortium had two bids for the club rejected by London hedge fund owners Sisu last week.

But Mr Hoffman has made a conscious effort to stay out of the public spotlight having stated his desire to conduct negotiations in private.

It is understood Mr Hoffman has also been busy with his full time job as chief executive of the Hastings Group and has had to fit ongoing work and key talks around the takeover attempt in with his busy schedule.
Hoffman bids
Former CCFC chairman Gary Hoffman is heading up a consortium of local businessmen which last week had two bids for the football club rejected.

The latest offer, which could have been worth in excess of £10 million, was rejected.

Mr Hoffman expressed satisfaction that private details of his group’s offer had been leaked along with details of the bid’s value.

He said that had left him considering if he should walk away but, he signalled his intent to go back with a fresh bid having received additional financial backing.

He said: “A lot of times I feel like giving up because these are very difficult people to deal with.

“However, to quote Jimmy Hill, we will fight until the game is won.”

The rest of it is just Giblet going on about things we already know.

I'd be wary of doing that.

I can't see SISU relinquishing control given the difference is perceived value of the club. I just hope I'm wrong because if there is no change on ownership MR will have about £30 to spend on players.

Does it automatically send money to places you copy?

Just make a donation to charity for images I've created used in articles and all of the content you get from here.

Not to mention the hull article

You also extracted quotes for your video without asking the users first.

What's the going rate? James Rodger must be costing the telegraph a fortune.

How much would that one article cost?

Would you bill Sky Blues Talk if apart, but not all, of an article was posted on here? is there a minimum number of words that serves as the invoice threshold?

There's a page on Facebook called stop click bait where you Just post the article link and then sum it up in one line.

We should start doing that rather than copying the entire article.

its £2.5 Million upfront with the same forward payment plus an extra £10m if we get to the prem within the next 8 years.

They've also said that covcity4life will offer free financial advice for 12 months, Joy and Tim can have free tickets to the new water park when it opens and Hoffman will publicly call Ann Lucas a stinky head.

Joy is waiting for 3 tickets to the park and wants the insult to be poo poo face.

my mainn man gazza hoffa is preparing a third bid for Coventry City even though hes been propa quiet lately like, the Telegraph understands.

There aint been no new bid in long time man, and nothing is expected to happen over the weekend cos mans are bare busy and shit.

But it is understood gazza hoffa desire to secure the club has not faltered(what duz this word mean?) and he is doing it all in secret with passwords and even a fancy knocks on boardroom doors.

cov fans have been keen to know more about the what the fuck is going on because gazza had two bids for the club rejected by those wankers sisu last week.

But GH as he is also known has made a conscious effort to stay out of the public spotlight because he is banging that mercedes from hollyoaks innit?

It is understood he has also been busy with his full time job as Chief operating office of WWE with his wife stephanie macmahon, and has had to fit ongoing work like macthes with undertaker in hell ina cell and key talks around the takeover(operation sisu must die) attempt in with his busy schedule.

Might just be co-incidence but this image looks a bit like the image I made (and gave credit to?)

it was even enlarged so the resolution was broken too.

This one where it got published telling about Hull fans was decent too.

There are multiple links to the Telegraph site in this thread too. 5 from what I can see. There will also be an automated link posted in the local news section that some people use. That's here - Coventry Telegraph - Fresh bid being prepared for Coventry City takeover

How many were in that Hull article, the Ruben crash article, the article using the images lifted from here?

This is where you pipe down and don't reply and go back to saying how there are only 10 users on here, right?

Hey it's your website.

Oh and to add to it, The "Post Wembley Hangover" link that is in that image was also copied with a couple of words changed about. That was from a Mirror article in 2016 so you might get discount.

I've had tweets used on those Telegraph 'Cov fans react to blah' articles a few times, are tweets public domain so long as they're embedded?

Not that I mind, I had some cracking things to say about blah

I hereby state that if any image or wording used by myself on the website 'skybluestalk.co.uk' is then used in any article or publication of the 'Coventry Telegraph' part of the 'Trinity Mirror' group then it I expect the remuneration to be paid in the form of Reda Johnson, formally of 'Coventry City FC' doing a shit in Simon Gilbert's mouth until he likes it.
