We're going to be linked to many players over the next few weeks, most of who we've never heard of. There'll also be a few names who always seem to inexplicably get a mention from fans even though they've been shite for years. So what are the names that seem to come up every close season that we'll be inevitably linked to?

Ex england GK still relatively young for a keeper and on thousands a week, and you are asking why him not Burge?. I'm sorry but if that is a serious question you are going to be in for a very long season.

For the right price, he's already played for England so his ambitions are met and obviously likes 1 club cities. If I was Robins I'd get former Norwich players Greg Downs and Robert Rosario to ring him up and vouch for the club. I already know he likes the area as i saw him at Warwick castle once with his kids.

Of course not!! I am a sensible and highly respected poster. It's just a parody of the sort of shit that gets spouted every pre-season. Football fans are generally stupid and the off-season is always a gold mine of idiocy. In fact I don't even like football, it just makes me feel a bit superior. :angelic:

Surely seeing a player buying KFC in Walsgrave will get a mention. Or Louis Saha staying at a hotel will become 100 pages of shite.

And that's without the return of Baker, Kirkland, Maca and signing of the season Theo Walcott.
