When the L2 and National League playoff results are confirmed, we'll know all 24 L2 teams next season. That'll be the cue for bookies putting up a market with odds for each team according to likely promotion/relegation, from which you can construct what they think the league table will look like.

Ok these will be very small markets but nonetheless there is the very clear possibility that Cov, being a much "bigger" club that the others in that league, will be priced in as the initial favourite to win the league/go up. How long will it take for that to change???

Although inevitably that wil lchange when we have our customary poor transfer window and patchy start to the season, it's still a novel experience for a CCFC fan to see us favourites to win the league!

Do people really think we're going straight back up? Have you not being paying attention to how the club has been run for the last 10 years?

Joint 3rd favourites at 11/1 to win the league on sky bet, joint 3rd favourites to be promoted at 9/4

That's depressing reading, this will be a soul destroying season but we need to get up at the first time of asking. The teams we used to complain against when in the JPT are the teams that are in and around us in the same division. FFS how did it get this bad....

But surely to get the full riches to rags to riches experience we need to start from non league and be the first club to do so - then even Sunderland fans might like us

Lets just hope the boys can perform on the pitch. I am optimistic about having MR at the helm but I said the same last year about TM and look where that got us. If I had to bet n city getting promoted or not, I would stick with the latter still... Hopefully I am wrong!!

That's six quid you could have spent on a takeaway!
Just had fish n chips. Gone in less than 10 minutes. That bet will last me months. Until the first few games of the season at least

Not going to put much more on until I see who we bring in. But going to keep putting my free bets on each week.

Remember, it's a lifetime on the hips!
Lost just over 2st in the last couple of months. Got about the same to go before the end of September as eldest lad is getting married on a beach. I allow myself treats but have cut out chocolate.
