Those prem defenders always seem to struggle against League 2 'physical' teams in the cup competitions. People make out like it's a different sport for fucks sake.

yes thats why so many prem teams lose to league 2 teams in the cup.....

hes contracted to cov so wearing villa gear in public isnt really good etiquette in my book.
Anyone going out as an adult in a full matchday or training kit needs to take a look at themselves. Let alone if you're a professional footballer and you're going out in your local rivals gear.

its not a different sport, its a different level of ability. What's being suggested is he might struggle against Lincoln or Accrington Stanley, but might be good enough to play against Leeds and Derby

In scouting, you look for traits that succeed at higher levels of football. Harries has one of them in abundance, which is quality and composure when in possession. A team like Liverpool - or even Villa - will think that "Well, with 2-3 years in our system, working with better coaches and strength and conditioning experts, we can turn him into a more complete player."

That's the thought process. Take players that have certain skillsets, mould them into complete footballers.

normally the 1st thing they do is loan them out to the lower leagues

Hardly "going out". He's nipped in to garage forecourt Sainsbury's on his way back from training. My (Cov fan) son is also at Villa and we do exactly the same thing at the same place.

Do you have a shower or are you one of those lads who can play football on a Sunday morning and just have a spray of Lynx after then be out on the all dayer and go to town at night?

You know, I really wasn't aware there's a Sainsbury's in semi rural Balsall Common.
Let alone attached to a garage forecourt.
Was always a Co operative village and through my childhood/ youth we got by with Maiseys. :p

Wingy - I think the Balsall Common Sainsury's must be next to the petrol garage that, in my day, was known as the 'Carlton Service Station'. As well as being a garage, they sold lawnmowers, rotavators and mini-tractors. I used to work there on Saturdays and on school holidays in the mid-60's. Happy days..................

At the cup final I did see someone with a vintage can of Lynx Java spraying it all over the arse of a mate who'd just shat himself, if that answers your question.

He's in France with Wales for the Toulon Tournament.

He posted 3 pictures, two were from Bolton's ground (playing) and the other at Wembley
