Didn't get into Ice hockey until about 3 years ago. Was looking for a team to support and Coventry had one, so started to follow them, have I done wrong ?, who should I be supporting ?

You should have supported one of the existing ice hockey teams from Coventry that wasn't franchisees in, presumably by the council, the CT or a hedge fund that FP doesn't support

Its not particularly straightforward but the short version is Solihull Barons (who actually started as Birmingham Barons) went bust. A new team was started up intended to be Birmingham Blaze playing at the NEC. When that fell through they went to Solihull as Solihull Blaze.
That was only every intended as a temporary move and when the Skydome was built they moved to Coventry. A new Solihull team, also called the Barons, started up in 2000 they went bust in 2002. They were replaced by Milton Keynes Kings who were rebranded Solihull MK Kings who went bust after a year. Solihull Kings were formed in 2005 and went bust in 2007.
The current Solihull Barons was formed in 2005.

I will support any team based in cov - Cov city, Cov Rugby, wasps, - don't really give a fuck. Just love good sport and love going up to wasps - having a beer in the stands and find it a good change to sitting amongst many of the thick fuckers we have as city fans. Shouting stuff like "forward forward forward" whenever the slightest hint of a sideways pass is made! Or picking on a player for no apparent reason other than we have to have a player in the team who is a villain. It's beyond pathetic at times.
