Mr Overson said: “With season ticket sales plummeting, Sisu need to come out and say exactly what they want to do.”

Can't see anything wrong with that?

wonder if him and his sons are renewing?
Quoted from the CET.
“I live in Stratford now. My three boys all have season tickets.

“I have been lucky enough to be successful in business and I have watched what has happened to the club from afar.

“I got in touch with Gary Hoffman five or six weeks ago and offered to help.”

Ah, misread that, thought he had one as well.

I wouldn't think that his comments haven't convinced anyone who hadn't already made their mind up to boycott for whatever reason (not all of those renewing are doing so to force ownership change, in fact I'd say that's true of the majority) to boycott.

Fact is most people are just fed up and giving up. That's as a result of SISU and how they have chosen to run the club and alienate the fan base. All this guy has done is give Nick and others an opportunity to piss their pants and say it's someone else's fault. When any failure for season ticket take up falls with the current owners not the potential next ones. Most if not all made this decision during last season before there was any talk of this consortium or anyone had even heard of this guy.

Are people being deliberately thick? You've got one of the investors in the Telegraph saying if we don't sell many season tickets it might force SISU to sell up. How can you not interpret that as encouraging a boycott?

Not what he said chief, and wouldn't it have been expected out on Friday, before we knew the early bird had been extended?

I think also, you/we need to think about why people are not buying. me? I'm not boycotting, I just can't be bothered. I sent an email to the club asking questions about the membership packages, as I was thinking about moving from premium to an even higher cost seat. No answer. So, if they aren't bothered... etc.

So the synopsis on here today is:
CET and Investor instigate an ST boycott on early bird deadline day whilst investor under the same breath says him and his 3 sons have brought ST's.

Sounds legit...

It's not just about 1 article is it? That's what I say when looking at the bigger picture..

You have Hoffman making a point of now being a NOPM hero after he had apparently given up, you have articles about outrage at season ticket prices that have been out a month. You have bids coming out the day before the last game of the season. You have "leaks" telling people to hold off renewing, you have fans groups telling people that admin is a way to get the fans to takeover.

That goes for all sides as well, the one revealing the bid was done to get in there first before Hoffman's side could

It's all timed
Yet they've not effected CCFC or it's budget cuts like people predicted with low ST sales have they?

that really is disgusting, they miss opportunity after opportunity, it really pisses me off when I hear stuff like this.

I was more concerned to see Joe Elliot is more in an advisory role then financial. Let's hope he's advising on something other than how to pick a decent Coventry City board to get involved in!

whats the matter? only positive news today so far? you need post something as negative as possible still though?

My plan was to renew during the early bird. Not bothering now.

Because it's obvious? Starting with fans groups saying we can get hold of the club through admin, through italia saying to hold off renewing when he was leaking things, through hoffman making a point about not renewing. Season ticket price outrage a month after the prices come out on just before the renewal was extended

According to you this is all part of a planned and coordinated conspiracy set to distress CCFC so that a wealthy consortium can buy the club on the cheap.
What I see is a club run into the ground by the current owners where fans in their droves have given up going, not through any coordinated boycott, but simply because they have lost hope and faith that things will ever get better.
From the very start of Hoffman's interest you have been completely negative towards him and the bids he has made. Another investor appears on the scene and you can't accept this as being good news, it is all part of "the conspiracy", the "hidden agenda" that you constantly hint at and only you can see.
I don't think there is any conspiracy but if there was and this group were using tactics to get at Sisu and ultimately take control of the club then I would be supportive of what they were doing.
Back in the real world almost all City fans would welcome new owners with open arms. It is only you and a few others who see intrigue where there is none who try to put a dampener on what can only be good for CCFC.
Of course you will say that you, like everyone else want Sisu gone. This certainly does not come across in the way that you try to disparage those who protest about Sisu and the things they have done or those who are trying to buy the club.
