What a great signing. I like the way MR is doing his business. Finally it seems we will have some bite and aggression in midfield.

Yes we do :D Not that I know much about this Kelly fella but he can't be any worse than what we already signed for our midfield this season ;)

(One day I will stop going on about how we signed Doyle.........honest!)

Any ideas who might be next then? If we are 'starting the week as we mean to go on' as the coventry tweet said...could be more to come...

Whats the situation with Burge / RCC? I wonder even if Joe Murphy would consider a return?

Nothing against Burge - would Robins want an older wiser head between the sticks though

Yeah... can't see how he would fit in though, unless Beavon is off, i get the impression they are similar

So another signing then. People are saying that the 4 have been great signings but has anyone actually seen them play apart from Doyle? Think most have heard of McNulty but again has anyone seen him play? Just trying to add a bit of perspective before we have won the league without even kicking a ball.

Probably more than Kwame Thomas. ;)

Murphy signed contract terms with Bury while on loan there, unfortunately

Sorry if it's been asked already, did we pay any fee for Liam Kelly? He only signed for Leyton Orient last summer for a reported 200k on a 3 year deal. I no he triggered a relegation clause in his contract.
Did that mean he could walk for free or 50k, 100k or any form of bid or simply orient happy to waver any fee to free his wages up?
Could be a similar situation with Turnbull and Beavon. Does there clause require a fee or available for free.

INTERVIEW: Liam Kelly speaks after agreeing move to the Sky Blues!

“I’m delighted to have agreed to sign for the club. It’s good to get this done so early in the off-season. It gives you a chance to get yourself focused for the start of pre-season and the upcoming season. I’m really looking forward to playing a part in what will hopefully be a successful season for Coventry.

“A club of this size can’t have any other ambition that promotion. Promotion should be the number one priority. I think if you look at the size of the club, the heritage of the club – it doesn’t belong in this league. But it’s going to be a tough season, there are some tough places to go in League Two.”

It’s an ambition which is shared with Kelly’s new Manager Mark Robins, and the Sky Blues boss was a key influence in the Scotland international making the move.

“I’ve played against the Gaffers teams before, they’ve always been tough teams to play against and they’ve always played good football. That is part of the attraction of coming here to Coventry.

“I’ve got every faith in the Manager and the players who have come in so far. The belief is there that this team is more than capable of getting themselves back to League One and pushing on from there.”

Put Willis at RB because otherwise we have no RBs. Also I reckon if he stays that's where he'll play, just a hunch.

No DKE hasn't signed yet.

Correct it's where Robins played him bar the last 2 games when it was dire in terms of available players.
He just don't see him and a central defender naturally
