An Evening With Mark Robins + Kit Launch (1 Viewer)

A kit launch event should be a free, bring the kids / meet the players affair, with the aim of creating a bit of hype and selling lots of kits. I bet this won't go ahead due to lack of take up.

Complaints I've heard from other supporters - not enough done by the club to don't engage with the fans, no communication, if they need F&B money they can always go and hire somewhere
themselves.

Surely this is a small start in addressing all of the above?
Exactly, couldn't really make it up. People will just constantly moan and moan. Can't win either way.

Its a meet the manager Q&A plus dinner with a kit reveal so its totally different. I imagine it will get a fairly big uptake and will prove popular. Sorry to disappoint you.

This is more a reveal than a launch and its only a tenner a ticket. I'm sure there will be a separate launch. I think they are doing something decent here.

Still baffled to see what people's issues are with it.

It's just showing how stupid some people are.

Hopefully we will have a couple more signings in place then he can tell the fans about! I wonder if they will make the players wear the kit and parade about?

I'm going to get backstage earlier in the day and see if they've got any boxes of kit lying around anywhere. If I get the scoop I'm automatically the best Cov-based investigative journalist around.

Can you get me some Greg Davies tickets too while you are lurking about?

Same, I'd love to go to this if I lived nearer. I think it's a great idea, been to a couple of similar things at Leeds United with a mate. They do it monthly and it's hosted by Lorimer and it always sells out. Hopefully it will be the first of many as it's a great way to engage fans

I would love to go too, but it's the same day as my daughter's 13th birthday.

If it was the missus it would of course be a different matter.

That is cost money, that the Warwick arts centre is now 'embarrasing' apparently

Has anyone used the "shows how low we've sunk" chestnut yet?

I can get the backstage door code and sneak you in for a small (LARGE) fee.

On a serious note if you do ever look to get tickets there let me know and I'll see if I can get staff discount, we get emails with offers all the time

Isn't even the discount, just they are sold out :(

I can understand why people are not attending this season given where we are but some of the comments on FB even when we were signing players was just daft. People like complaining about the club no matter what, even if we were top of the league they would still moan.

Probably that they couldn't get tickets.

Sounds like a good well priced event. Fair play to the club. Will be on a Jamaican beach at the time though!
Yes is a good idea.
But it's funny how the ones applauding this normally have a go at the trust for doing it for free.

Remember when we were in the Premiership and thousands of people would say "City till I die, even if we were playing Racing Club Warwick in the Evo stick league I'd be there" or something of the like. Well 3200 of us were telling the truth.

Speaking of the outrage, on the telegraph site they are gloating saying how this means nopm is working and the club are desperate etc.

Meanwhile outrage about cuts in staff.

It does make you wonder sometimes if people are on the glue.

Glue's great, you should try it.

Stings a bit though.
