Just started following CCFC on Twitter & liked recent tweet about the kit. Released by Fulham and still without a club, he's a right-back so makes sense after the other lad went to Hearts

He's 23 & was on loan at Shrewsbury last season

Eh, I just had a look through and his likes for other club accounts seem mainly directed at his mates signing new deals or signing for new teams. Might be something in this, but it's still hard to tell just from social media follows and likes.

Had a look at the Shrewsbury Town fans forum. Seems to me that Grimmer is an exceptionally hard worker but a long way off from being the best RB in the league....

My Shrews season ticket holder mate says league 2 would be his level at the very best!

Likes getting forward, tries hard but is often caught out positionally!

This rumour hardly fills me with confidence. But I'd welcome him all the same if he was bought in.

Just from varied reports I'm picturing a right back version of Chris Hussey. Good getting forward but forgets to track back. Let's just hope he has a better cross on him...
