No worries! Good to be back :D

Just hope they sort something for Friday. See on Twitter they are suggesting they've tried every avenue.

My only concern is they will decide on an inter-team game, but then based on tonight's team + subs, we'd have to fly more players out! Wouldn't that be a waste?

Surely with 24 out there they can do 11 v 11 and just rotate sub on every 10/15 mins and shift people around a bit, better than nothing.

Full time 3-2

Much more attacking second half. If we can start with the defence we started with (minus poor Daragh) and with the attack we finished with I'll be happy!

Front three second half looked very useful, although not sure Ponticelli will be used from the start

Moorhouse should earn a contract. He looks very useful.

Rimmer difficult to assess as didn't really have much to do in the first half on the right

Obrien impressed with me for his vocals. Couldn't do much about the winner

Overall a decent run out and nice little location to have it in

Now to see what we do Friday if anything! Being in the middle of nowhere I need something to occupy myself!

Top marks SW88, welcome back.... time for a well earned beer.

Liking the sounds of O'Brien, and Biamou so far, Moorhouse sounds promising too.

Is that the first time Ponticelli has played with the first team?

Forgetting how we've been playing, is it me or is there a noticeable effort from players to praise fans and talk about how hard they are working? Not that I'm complaining, if it's genuine great, and if it's not then what a manager Robins is for getting them all to do it.

Pre-season results mean nothing, but the general make up of the squad and feeling around it seems like a step change this season. If we make a good start we could have a special season I reckon.

Could Ponticelli be our 20 goal a season man? (before he is sold to the riches of the premier league)

He certainly knows how to finish. But doneorry he may still be too young

Could be very useful off the bench with Beavon playing in the position he did in the front three? (Or obviously Thomas if he stays but it seems it's a big if)

I'm not sure how productive it would be, but if it means I get to see another game, I'll take it!

Not much round here otherwise to be doing with my time. I only chose it for closeness to the ground! :( And I'm here til Sunday

Results don't really matter at this stage of the pre-season, especially with how chopped and changed the team was but it sounds like we played well which is what is most important.

Didn't we have this trouble the last time we went abroad? Who do they use to organise these trips, could be time to look at getting someone else to arrange the trips.

Holland we had 3 games planned. Only one of the originals happened. The other two were played In a hotel back yard and the other in Germany

Last season we went to Austria. We're due to play a team from saudi Arabia. Didn't happen. Had to play an AustrianB team

Should be used to it by now :)

LOB impressed me with his vocals, as did Willis and Rod in the first half constantly talking to the younger boys.

Biamou has a wonderful touch and will win the majority of balls lumped in his direction.

Ponticelli looks like that kind of player who knows what position to get in to score goals, touch his goal brilliantly and looks very confident.

Moorhouse - deployed as more of a RM but looks like an interesting player. Pace and height and is a rare combo to find. Sign him up.

To the tune of Come On Eileen:

Pon-ti-cell-i
Oh, he's from Coventry (Ed: it's downhill from here)
At this moment he means everything
When he wears the shirt
Our opponents will hurt

Come on
Jordan tahroorahlay
Come on
Jordan tahroorahlay
Toooo Raaahh Oooh Raahh Too Raahh Looo Rahh Laaaayy!
(Repeat)
