Not sure whether he will play the second string for this, hopefully moorhouse and Pearson get a good run out.

The club have said this will be the U23s & some first team players probably the likes of Kwame Thomas and Charles-Cook

I'm still not on board with 'my bad' Heard a teacher in her 50s (as am I) use it to an admin member of staff a couple of weeks ago - made me cringe.

Got to be said though. We all had our own slang growing up and some we still use to this day, so today's youth can fill their boots. It all gets officially added to the dictionary eventually.

what league and where is Mickleover? seems a strange friendly to me.

Northern Premier League Premier Division. 3 divisions below us. Steve Taylor, our assistant manager, came from there. As alluded to above think it will be more an under 23 fixture than first team.

5 Days Countdown – Sports Face Coventry City In Big Pre-Season Clash
Club News First Team
July 20, 2017

Following from the recent positive performances against higher league opposition, Sports face Coventry City in what promises to be another entertaining game at the Don Amott Arena.

City, who recently took an army of 41,000 fans to Wembley in the EFL Trophy, their first trophy since 1987’s famous FA Cup victory will prove to be a sterner test for first-team manager John McGrath’s squad. The fixture will be a quick return for ex-Sports assistant manager Steve Taylor and the visitors have indicated they will be bringing a strong team to Station Road.

Sports have already claimed two league scalps following impressive displays against Notts County and Mansfield Town and will be looking to add the Sky Blues to this list come Tuesday evening.

Entry (on the gate) will be £6 adults and £4 for concessions.

Mickleover also have one Clinton Morrison on their books.

EDIT: They also have a CB called Ben Turner! Very much doubt it's the one we know thought :p

I think it is a 7.30 kickoff, £6 isnt bad and less than an hour away if going up the toll road.
