Thanks ferret, will try again this evening. Bought a match package yesterday, and that part of the process went nicely, only to find that Saturday’s game was not available. Hopefully there’ll be a way to self-print the tickets – if so, this will be my most practical way of going to matches this season. These days, I have to make decisions on attendance quite late.

Think they would notice this through the turnstyle

It would have been nice that if for once the ticketing just worked as it should. It's always a stick to beat the club with and we never get it right.

I would agree with this if it weren't for the £24-£25 match day tickets price, for whatever reason
Some will not buy STs or match packages, £20 for a standard match day ticket is plenty and
Wouldn't put people off buying on the spur of the moment imo.
Our pricing structure would be more suited to a club that already command healthy ticket sales And
attendances, we are most definitely not in this bracket.
With such poor pre-ticket sales 'our club more than most will rely on fair weather, spur of the moment,
Impulse purchasers to boost attendances and the all important revenues.

I don't know if I agree with you or not. A few might be put off the price if we were mid table but I think we all know the main reason for our falling attendances is that people are just fed up of us being shit. If we were storming the league we'd be over 15k easy at that price.

1500-2000.... we never had that in league two baring a few games like Bristol Rovers.

In reality the average away following at the Ricoh will be 250-600 with the exception of Luton, Notts county, Port Vale, Swindon who will exceed that number.

In contrast Accrington will bring a coach or two and Notts county will easily bring 1500 fans

Storming the league would be great 'though not likely, I would have thought anywhere Between
4th and 14th would be more realistic 'and probably acceptable.
A lot of people work to a tight budget and £4 or £5 difference on the ticket price could Absolutely
change their mind 'as to whether they go up or not.
OSB already pointed out that break even is around 8500 so we really need to be surpassing that,
So we need a walk up of around 4000 every week just to hit that number.
Their match day pricing suggests they are confident of a clamour for tickets, I'm not sure I share
Their confidence.

Agree with much of that, but 14th in division 4 can never be acceptable!

We have to be doing well to start shifting match day tickets "full stop" all I'm saying is Should
we do well £24 or £25 will put people off walking up but £20 wouldn't.
If we are shit it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference if they charge £10 or £100, match day
Tickets only really come into play if the team are performing.

It doesn't matter if break even is 7000, 7500, 8000, 8500, 9000, 9500 or 10000 the
Point I'm making about match day pricing still applies.

A few posts mentioned the 8500 to beak even and I understand that was a speculative figure but I'm sure the model for this season has been set lower to allow for a decline in attendances hence why the push for match package sales and season tickets to give a confirmed income over a speculative figure required by the football league under SCMP.

The more money in the pot helps us strengthen more this window, than a hopeful rise in attendance and wait till January.

I get that. The point I'm making though is IF we do we'll then the extra few quid won't put people off as they're desperate to see a winning team. It's only if we find things tough going that people will be put off by the extra.

Well the club are doing their best to limit the crowd I'm afraid. I bought a match package but due to errors you can't use them online, and the box office number rings out. I have no intention of paying again when I already bought the match package. This along with the season ticket issues shows how they feel about the supporters

It's not people getting their knickers in a twist, he's done what the club asked of him He's bought
a match package, yet two days before K/O and he can't use it for Saturday.
The club fuck up at every turn when it comes to ticketing, things were supposed to improve with
The arrival of ticket master, but no 'while they sell out other grounds up and down the Country
With no such problems 'when it comes to Cov it's same old story.
Almost as annoying as the ticketing are the same faces that always come out to defend the club
Despite there obvious shortcomings, while ridiculing fans who 'rightly moan about it.

Quite, a couple of years back when we were playing well under TM, me and the Mrs bought tickets regularly in Block 37 for £18 each, I think they want £26 each now for the same seats !

The only difference in pricing is the £1 TM charge in Block 37. Concessions which were £18 then work out cheaper if you buy in advance and print at home at £17 now

Lincoln will bring 3-4k I am absolutely positive on that. Grimsby will bring numbers, as will Mansfield. You will also be surprised at the following from Exeter. I agree away support is poor in League 2...but, my point is the Ricoh will be (almost) everyone's big away day.

Think it was 15 or 20 that season actually, was the discount season!

It's like he said, block 37 was £18 (£20 on the day) two seasons ago, it is now £25 (£27 on the day).
