Just listening to him on CWR .what a thoroughly nice guy ... Bruck was born in Danzig, then in Germany, and came to England as a child. He was raised in Coventry and attended Bishop Ullathorne RC School.[9]

Looking but cannot find it Pathe news would probably be the best place but found nothing .Great guy last I seen him he was Community officer at Tesco's. That night the gates were broken down by people wanting to get in to see it the attendance was 40,000 but I can tell you there were far more than that others will tell you .He played in the game at the Ricoh when City went to Northampton. He did well considering he was in his 60's then.

Heard him on the radio talking about when he signed pro for Cov, his parents came in with him (no agents ) he said the average weekly wage for a shop floor worker was around £6.50 a week in 1962 he was offered £185 a week...so they were earning a lot in those days too but absolute legend for me and a few years back he took the half line challenge and scored too

I think you heard that incorrectly. The maximum wage of 20 pounds was abolished in late 1961 for the top players of the day. In 66 most of the World Cup winners were still on 100 or so.
He may have said 1.85 pounds as an apprentice.
