Is it just me? The system apparently cannot handle a zero value transactions therefore for me to order a ticket for Saturday (from my match package) along with a ticket for my son (JSB member) it cannot be done online with print at home option. I have to phone the ticket office and queue at the ground to collect. What a farce...

Mine gives me the option to buy online but not tested it yet.

They email you the ticket as an attachment as confirmation, open the attachment and then use the bar code from your "ticket on phone" to gain entry

In fairness Ticketmaster are well established and deal with large events. They should be able to do a better job than this.

You'd think so. I've dealt with them loads for festival and gig tickets and never had an issue but there seems to have been a few problems regarding football tickets. Don't know why, they carry out the same service for a few clubs.

Fortunately i don't have to deal with them too much living close to the Butts.

How long do they have a contract with City for?

If it's an attachment, I'm assuming folks can print that off at home too?

I managed to get my ticket for Saturday and print it off. Clicked on the correct £0 option. At checkout was asked for card details (for some reason!) Then it went through at £0 . Got email with ticket attached to print off.

I think the problem the combination of adult and child, as it states the child cannot be ordered without a full paying adult ticket. The joke is that Ticketmaster and CCFC seem to accept this 'is what it is'. Just emailed the club now for a response as others will have this issue also, but don't know it yet!

Do you have an account for both you and your child set up?

Yep, it did that to me when I've just tried it now. FFS.

Yes. I walked it through with ticketmaster on the phone just to check it wasn't my error and they said that they couldn't solve it either. They gave me the CCFC 0333 number to ring, who said its not our problem either, and try the 02476 number - which nobody answers!

They need to fix this as I refuse to queue for 30 mins every home match to collect tickets, as with the Notts County match. If success comes on the pitch and we get crowds back of 15000 plus there will be another meltdown

Yeah, it's not right. Should be much smoother.

Can't you just hand them in on the gate? Not like there's a shortage of seats!

You can, but I like to choose my seat and I bought the match package on that basis. I live away from Coventry and it was a pain in the arse previous seasons with the match package. It shouldn't be difficult, Ticketmaster just need to sort their act out and make the system work like it's supposed to.

Last season it was like a cheque book so you could hand one in on the turnstile, but this time it is all electronic. If you have a JSB they need a pre booked ticket to get in for free, hence it gets stuck in the system.

Between CCFC and ticketmaster they have fixed the issue and I just order my tickets and printed at home. :)
Notes For others - make sure you assign the child to the child ticket. also if you have a 6 match package, select a U13 (or whichever) 6 match package for your child even though they are JSB members for a season. You still have to enter your credit card details even though value is zero. make sure on that page you select ticketfast otherwise you have to collect from ground. 3 mins after completing they email a pdf of the tickets to print.

First go seemed a bit messy but I'm sure it will be quick and simple for future matches and very pleased they sorted it.

Thanks for helping to sort that issue there must be a lot of fans in the same position

even though I have a match package, and I am selecting ticketfast, it is still charging me £1
I paid £3,60 service charge up front - and did pay the extra £1 for the first game
this must be wrong - anybody else having this issue?

I think if you tell them you will get it back!
