Pay on the gate v Newport (1 Viewer)

Might not make it up to the ticket office tomorrow to buy a ticket in advance. Just wondering then if we pay on the gate at £2 more than an advance ticket, is there then another £1 thrown in for ticket master aswell at the turnstiles?:emoji_thinking:

Surely not. There would be no Ticketmaster involvement.

Mind, nothing surprises me.

NUS card squire! So it sounds like there is a ticket master charge at the turnstiles aswell then?:banghead:

Eh?

The £2 charge is to make the price the same as through Ticket Master. They can’t get rid of the charge, so they equalised it like that instead. All the money goes to the club/Joy’s handbag collection.

Anyone help me?
I'm trying to buy tickets online for this Saturday but I can't see an option to view each block and choose my seat?
The only option is to click how many tickets I want and they automatically allocate me tickets in the first row which I don't want!!

I'm doing it on my iPhone if that makes a difference.

Yeah it doesn't support that device I don't think. You need to be on a computer using Chrome I think. Not sure of the other options.

I thought you would only go if we were doing well by Christmas, not doing well after 2 games :D

Correct! Wasn't going to invest until there is a team on the pitch, so if we are bubbling along nicely come Christmas a half season ticket will be on the agenda.:emoji_thumbsup:

Wasn't going to pal. If there is actually a half decent team on the pitch come xmas then I will go on a match by match basis.

It's as bad as not wanting to give CCFC money because you claim it's SISU after you have paid to go to the kit launch. What's the point in giving it loads about what you are / aren't going to do to just keep changing every 5 minutes?

Not changing every 5 mins-think you will find that is what I have said-if they are doing the business come Christmas then I will be going to the Ricoh more regularly.

I just quoted what you said.. It isn't Christmas and you are going match by match, now it is you will get a half season ticket by Christmas.

It's all well and good and up to you, just don't see the need for the :

"I'll do this" and "I'll do that" and giving it loads to just change after a couple of wins.

Same as you commenting about the proceeds of the family zone raffle going to CCFC, then paying to go to the kit launch.

Correct-I will be if we continue to progress at Christmas. Reason I am going tomorrow as we haven't got an MFL game.

Like I said, it's entirely up to you. Just no need to make the statements about what you will and won't do for your favourite "back pats" as you then look a bit silly when you change it and move the goalposts.

My opinion or choosing is a "back pat"?:emoji_thinking:

Who cares. Surely it's a good thing that he's been convinced to come back earlier than expected. The more the merrier.

As I said, it's up to him and fair play if he wants to go.

Just don't see the need for the statements of what people will and won't do just to change them a couple of weeks later because we have won a couple of games.

It dont make sense.. i paid 25 pound on the gate against notts county.. didn't even recieve a ticket so saved money on even printing them so why would ticketmaster get anything?

A whole thread dominated by you over 9 hrs picking and prodding at a fellow fan
For going to watch CCFC play, you couldn't make it up.
So he said he wouldn't go till Christmas, but now he wants to go tomorrow, I think
You're losing the plot Nick, get a grip man.
That's the problem with making big, moralistic statements. :emoji_laughing:
Big moralistic statements.....On an internet fans forum that hardly anyone uses,
And those that do barely know one another, if at all.

Ha 9 hours?

Again, I'm pointing out how people give it loads, tell everybody else what they are going to do and then just keep chopping and changing.

If somebody is going to keep announcing what they will or won't do, at least stick to it or doing keep doing it over and over.

It's not really losing the plot, I'm not the one giving it the "I won't go until Christmas" like some sort of hero then giving in and going back on it 2 games in.

Moral of the story, if you repeatedly want to tell everybody your stance then stick to it, or just stop telling everybody and going back on it.

My wife wanted go out for a meal last Friday, but then changed her mind, should I divorce her.
I was traveling to the Ricoh with my Brother tomorrow, but now he's changed his mind and is
Going to a wedding instead, people change their mind about all sorts of stuff all the time 'it's
No big deal.
He said if he liked what he saw he'd probably start going to the Ricoh more often, we have
Made a decent start and hopefully that will stir people's interest and get them coming back.
That is after all what we all want isn't it, the more the merrier IMO, inject some much needed
Life into the place.

I have already said fair play if he wanted to go.

It's not about changing minds, it's making the statements and then keep changing their mind. What's the point? Why feel the need to tell everybody what they are and aren't going to do to then just not do it anyway?

Saying how they wouldn't give money to a JSB raffle because of the money going to CCFC, but then paying money to go to a kit launch where the money goes to CCFC...

The analogy of your wife is if she went on and on about how she wouldn't go to a restaurant and then decides she wants to go there after she has felt the need to tell everybody she wouldn't go there.

The 2nd part of your statement has no relevance in this thread, it's just you bringing something
Back that someone once said to prod them with.
The 1st part is as I said 'people change their minds and opinions all the time, it's a fans message
Board, people come on here at different times of day and in different frames of mind.
You may live your life by following a set routine, always guarded and careful of what you say, but
Most people just aren't like that, but either way I don't understand why you would continually goad
Someone for enquiring about how to buy tickets.
The 3rd part, How do you know my wife ? ;)

No, I just don't bang on about stance and make things about morals unless I'd stick to them and not change within days.

The second bit was just another example of it.

Thirdly, no comment...

No, you saying you are going to do x or y and then changing ;)

It's not opinion. :D

And you say NOPM is pointless and people should support the team. Then when they go you mock them or call them glory hunters. You want to stop changing your stance every five minutes, you either want fans to go or you don't?

I haven't changed my stance, hence I've said fair play if he is going to the game and have never said he shouldn't. Just literally said about keep making statements of what they are going to do to then just do a u turn.

I've been consistent and said I don't know why people do it.
