Don't get this, the local council have limited the tickets available as its a London derby. But apparently not a problem when its a FA Cup semi or final or something like England v Scotland.

Yes as Ludicrous as tickets going off sale for our game at Grimsby last week.
Committees in overdrive.

What sort of crowds are Spurs expecting at Wembley?

How many do the away sides get?

Haven't really seen much in the plans for this season there.

Just had a look and it's sold out with the away fans getting the minimum allocation under FA regs which is about 3K.

Says you have to be registered on their database to buy to stop away fans buying tickets in the home end and no POTG.

Ahh, so does that mean Spurs are able to sell the other 95K seats to their own fans.
If not could they argue they're being financially hampered, or conversely could other teams complain they're gaining a financial advantage.
Not necessarily relevant when most of the finance comes from elsewhere but just trying to get my head around the reasoning.

If I remember correctly there's a limit on the number of events Wembley can host per year with crowds of over 50k. Were Spurs' CL games at Wembley capped at 50k last season?

Might do the Burnley game next week so I can tick it off my 92. Anyone fancy it? Cheapish tickets.

Its an absolute disgrace. Wembley should be a special occasion for international and cup finals.

To be honest I'm happy they take the money, get the stadium paid off then they can (hopefully) start putting more cash into the grassroots. Lets face it the PL aren't going to do shit.

With regards to semi finals I agree 100%. Other events like gigs and boxing are fine obviously.

However as much as I dislike Spurs and potentially Chelsea playing there they don't really have much of an alternative.

They could have played at the olympic stadium so the tax payer could have got some of the money back from that huge waste of money

They never heard of groundshare then?

It was looked at and was the preferred option but no other team was prepared to do it.
