Well mannered response, fair play... maybe it's a little idealistic but I'd say it's not beyond the realms of possibilities. Kwame Thomas could go out on loan freeing up some income to bring a target man type in on loan or a free transfer deemed surplus by his current club.
Biamou looks like he's gonna need time, if that's weeks or months who knows. And I agree Andreu will create for sure which McNulty has showed his movement is good enough, just needs to display that killer finish now which I think will come.

I think Biamou is supposed to be that player, MR said of him: 'He is a raw talent with pace, power and aggression, and is also good in the air'. We also missed out on that Donny striker who is a target man too. I do hope Biamou picks things up, but of all our signings, he looks like the weak link. I think the management has tried to cover all bases this summer and I think they've done a good job. Even if 1-2 signings don't come off.

I'd avoid the temptation to loan Kwame Thomas out. He's hit a bit of form for the U23s, so I could see him getting on the bench. Whilst I've never seen him play, his goal scoring record isn't terrible for us. From what I've heard about him, he's a physical player... The question is, can he stay fit?

So far, my 8 year old would be more physical than Biamou.

I think what he needs is somebody to put a challenge in, him to get up and give them some shit in return and man up a bit. Crowd will get behind him, his teammates will plough in. So far if the game isn't going his way he will stay on the floor.

Biamou at this minute does look the weakest link of the 11 permanent signings but he was signed from effectively div 5 and will need time to adapt to the quicker players he's playing against. The national league is pretty physical and he's near enough proved himself at that level after a season there adapting.

I think that's the key with Biamou, he needs time and isn't ready for L2 and it's a little unfair to put him in a situation where we're chasing a game being thrown on as a old fashioned target man didn't suit him one bit in a game we were frustrated and chasing. That's exposing him for criticism.

20 minutes of league 2 football isn't enough to gauge him on yet or a poor team against championship level defenders who will put all the old tricks on him hence why MR said he wanted to expose him and Nazon to.

If we as fans start getting on his back the lads up against it from the off, confidence will inevitably fall away with every groan and moan more so on away days.

Let's buck the trend a little and support the lad and help him soar in confidence, after all he's signed on what scouts seen him do in a physical league scoring a variety of goals. Let him adapt and if by Christmas it still looks like he's not developing we signed a dud. It's early days.

I'm by no means on his back, never would boo him or shout abuse and nothing but support :)

Just think it needs him to do something like Jones did and get up and give a bit of shit back and get a bit of grit between his teeth.

It may be that the lad is adjusting to being a full time footballer
I suspect Sutton were part time and National League football is even more direct than League 2 so he didn't need to work hard when his side didn't have the ball like you do in the League
He was particularly exposed against Blackburn who played a possession game and he didn't seem to realise he had to chase as they passed it between them at the back
Hopefully he'll learn
If he manages to nick a goal it would do his confidence the power of good

I'm not suggesting you personally are but more saying we've not seen enough of him to say either way if he's up to it or not and those who will likely get on his back at games are not gonna help his adjustment.

We all want new signings to hit the ground running but reality is some will other will take time to adjust.

Exactly that... he may get game time in the checkatrade trophy to help his development tho that's not gonna be easy v L1 opposition but hopefully they put out changed sides where he can flourish and gain confidence.

At Sutton he scored a variety of goals with some headers others using his body with size and power.

Let's hope he develops that more here, could be a important player in the latter half of the season like at Sutton

He'd be a decent option as central striker, quite decent with his back to goal and not bad in the air.

Checked a few times to see whether Andy Williams has featured for Doncaster. Been an unused sub a couple of times. Still think there could be life in this if Donny get another striker.

There's no way the budget would allow us to sign him now.

I have to agree, he's likely sitting on a nice contract at Doncaster and likely have no real desire to leave or intact drop a league when he wants to play for Doncaster himself so we've no chance now of finding room to fit his wage in the budget.

Deals dead I'd say

It's a bullshit account.

It has predicted a few of our transfers this summer, not saying he is 100% right, but he has got one or two right..

Interesting.

I still can't see where he will fit now we have Andreu. We would be massively overloaded while light at centre half.

If Baker signs we have

Vincenti
Jones
Andreu
Duck
Baker
McNulty

All of those could play number 10 or across the front 3.

While he may not start every week, he would be battling with Andreu for the shirt I think.

Or Vincenti, I'm hoping Andreu will play behind the striker.
