Burge should have stopped all three goals
It's common knowledge that I don't rate him highly, but I always try to be fair.

Think he should have done better on that free kick. Looked very close to him, that.

Great strike on the keepers side!!

Iv stuck up for burge in the past but last night was not a great performance

He made a good save in the build up to the second and another good save late on. He claimed everything well too. Can't be blamed for the first and the 3rd is a far better free kick than we should see again this year

Don't think he should have saved any, first one was a deflection, and a free shot inside the box.
Second one he's made a good reaction save, and they have reacted quicker.
Third one was struck with such pace, yes it was at the keepers side, but still a brilliant free kick.
And nothing on the howlers o'brien has made.

Never a pen or a sending off. Shame the rub of the green didn't give us a result. Almost wasted a bit of luck there!

I'd feel more supportive of Burge if he didn't remind me so much of Shaggy from Scooby Doo, especially in his green keeper shirt.

Definite red card - he went for the player(the ball was incidental). Penalty - difficult to tell from the video, even having replayed it.

Nah, Jones was just too quick for him, was single footed and wouldnt say it was excessive force and for me a genuine attempt for the ball, just not quick enough . I'd have been pissed off if one of our players got a red card for that.

Terrible defending for first 2 goals. A top class GK could have saved both. But no GK in L2 is top class. The free kick was well placed, struck well, and with GK unsighted, can't fault him for that. At least he moved toward the ball and did not just stand still.

I do think he has improved but, I personally think he should have held the initial shot on the second.

Held it with his legs? He was making a reaction stop, would have been world class for him to catch that.
And burge isn't that

I'll stand by my first statement. Body weight backwards, feet in a mess. This is something that can be coached.
Fair enough I still disagree, think given that it's a first time shot, and he's given very little time to prepare himself it's a good shot.
And don't think anyone should be expected to catch it

That's fair enough. I do like Burge but on the first and second goal he's fell backwards.
