I spoke with him at Chesterfield and he said " no progress, no new news and nothing likely in next few months"
Take from that what you will !!

No one will commit till end of season.. I'm expecting ground rent negotiations with Wasps to go on through the Summer.

As a City fan I'm not expecting anything

I think they would rather pass it over to Fisher on a plate than take money of anyone who would take over with good intentions for the club. Such is their disdain for the club, it's supporters and the city of coventry as a whole. Any outfit with an ounce of common sense would have snapped Hoffmann hands of by now.

Can we please just concentrate on the football for the time being and park the speculation.
(Of course if we lose more matches then it's all SISU's fault!)

I suppose Elliot and his merry band of consortium-eers are the absolute antidote to our rotten plummet, if or when they grapple the club from Joy's steely grip. 'If' is the most likely of the two...

It's an odd stalemate: Joy holds the club to ransom even though it's without any real value, and Elliot is keen to get in and do a job, but won't be left penniless. Joy knows he wants the club, the toxic shithouse that she is...

One of the problems with the current owners is their remoteness and secrecy. It is very hard to see how the club can be prised away from them. I cannot for the life of me see why Fisher, knowing what a basket case the club is and also knowing the intense dislike and mistrust that supporters have for him, would want to own this club. However, if he did own the club would it not be easier to put pressure on him to sell to someone who cares about the club than it is trying to deal with Sisu? As an interim move to try and get the club back in safe hands it might actually be a good thing.Would he pass the fit and proper person's test?

So we could have a situation where the early bird season tickets are on sale ,
But we won't know we're the team will be playing , you couldn't make it up .
