So I am asking you what you are saying has been disproved.

As I said not fussed about reading pages of people whinging about something that hopefully will be as great for this city if we win it as it has for previous winners.
I asked a simple question about whether CCFC or CRFC had sponsored the bid like Wasps and the Ricoh.
All I get from you is read the thread and a cryptic line about something been disproved.
So don’t bother answering.
I am sure you could have answered by now in all your replies.
(Maybe I should use commas, so you get my tone)

It's not cryptic, it's telling you to do the basic thing of reading the thread properly before commenting.
It's basic stuff.
I’ve read it. The proven facts are: Wasps are in the pitch. CCFC aren’t.
Wasps paid into the kitty at the start. CCFC didn’t ( as far as we know).
Wasps have a good relationship with people who matter in the city. CCFC have a broken relationship.
Wasps are in the limelight. CCFC said they were happy to support the bid in January- I haven’t heard any more since then.
Some deduce from this that CCC is trying to erase CCFC from the city.

It's almost as if I didn't quote you when I said that.
CCFC have supported the bid since, just because you haven't heard anything personally (when you were arranging something completely different) means nothing.
The point is, a kitty is irrelevant. It is really not hard to understand. The fact you are trying multiple reasons to justify it is strange. Then reaching out to Dongo for supporting just makes it worse.
I answered Gonzo‘s question. I haven’t heard anything about CCFC being in anyway involved since they announced they were. I read this forum and normally someone would have posted a link by now. There are loads of potential sources, so maybe you have heard „supporting the bid“ actually means?

It’s like all sponsership deals. Quite simple really. You sponser it the minimum you expect is a mention at every opportunity.
Fingers crossed we win the City of Culture it will be awesome for our City.
I am not going to cut off my nose to spite my face and hope we don’t win, because of Wasps. Wasps mean nothing to me.

Culture is a way of life. It's not how much money you throw at something or who your best mates with. No one is complaining wasps are centre stage because as pointed out, they have put money in. People are complaining that CCFC have been left out when they are part of the cities culture. Regardless of money or relationships. It's shit we have fans excusing it.

Your right but shouldn't the club do its best to make sure it is represented when it has been hard done by.
Seems like they themselves don't care, it seems it is up to the fans yet again to push for it.

So I suggest that if someone sponsors something that the minimum they would expect in return. Is that the people organising said event give them a mention when talking about or promoting the event

Sorry but this shit really pisses me off.
I love this City yes it has some bad points, but so does every city town or village in the world you make it sound like it only happens here.
Walked around Lincoln today went up to the beauiful cathedral area yes there were homeless on the side walks, thought nothing of it as it has now become common place.
