    Better now than 2012?

That season David McGoldrick, then Leon Clarke played up top for us with a young Callum Wilson featuring by the end of the season. We also had John Fleck, Cyrus Christie and Franck Moussa. Not really comparing like for like looking at a League Cup 1st Round game we won without playing our best team.

    "Coventry City, who are they?"

We do nearly always seem to bottle it with a big crowd at the Ricoh, though, even if we did win at Man Utd away, Wembley and the 4-1 against Gillingham with under 16,000 there. The Gillingham 1-0 is the best counter-example but it was hardly a performance to ignite passions in fairweather fans...

    Ratings from today

I'm delighted Burge did well today after telling a couple of fairweather fans what a liability he is before the match but honestly, although he's made three telling saves, the first two were routine for a good keeper (the second was more a bad shot than a great save) and the third at the end...

We have many friends down London

I live in Islington and inevitably ended up going past the Emirates crowd in full Sky Blue gear. Probably lucky they scraped a draw against Man City.

    Spare Wembley Tickets Thread

Two adult tickets going spare in Block 542, Row 2. £28 each face value, will take £55 for the pair. PM me.

    32,000 sold already

Got through the online queue. They are still opening it block by block so you aren't missing anything yet waiting in the queue. Can only get Block 544 behind the goal near the back of the block. Kind of ridiculous having priority sales in which the best tickets still available are not made...

    Ratings Folks ??

Everyone is being v. kind to Kent who got into some good positions but had virtually no end product, a couple of weak shots was about it and he kept overrunning the ball as well as putting in a shocker of a cross when Armstrong was open in the box on a counter-attack.

    Charles-Cook

Second goal today looked saveable but he made up for it with two big saves at 1-2. Much more confidence inspiring than Burge.

    Trevor Carson

Cheltenham are my second team. Carson's a decent shot stopper but not sure he's good enough under the high ball. He was CTFC's best player this season but considering they finished 91st out of 92 FL teams, that ain't saying much. Would prefer him to Burge, though.

    Congrats to Callum Wilson !

Keiren Westwood in the Championship team of the year also. Always thought we might get relegated once he left, was worth about 10 points a season compared to your average keeper at that level. Would like him to get a real crack at top flight football before he retires.

Would you pay £64 to watch City?

£64 for an Arsenal category A game like Liverpool. If we were Prem we would be category C at the Emirates so more like £30.
