Thanks. Your problems aren't about your football team. It must be wearing on the players even so.

No problem with your assessment. Then again we are also the walking wounded on the treatment front.

Blackpool fan - not gloating btw. Your man Gyokores - good player - was brought on too late for you.

We're you in Waterstones at lunchtime? I was in with wife and dog and had my photo taken with Hutch. I was in a heritage (1953) Blackpool shirt.

We played to our strengths but defensively we weren't good. You did well exploiting the right wing in the second half but your balls in were well smothered. We took our goals well but some of your shooting could have been better.

I can't remember, although I would have been at the match. I think we were leading but you hit us with three quick goals towards the end of the match.

No reason why you shouldn't. I just asked why you do.

Oh yes I've just remembered. You lot were one of our best away fans groups last season. That Twist & Shout thing. I'm a massive Beatles fan but...why?

I think I'm right that for 10 years (late 40s to late 50s) Blackpool had the biggest away gates in the first division because of Matthews. As for Tony Green - my favourite ever Blackpool player. He was like quicksilver. He was badly injured for most of our promotion season (1969/70) but when he...

Thanks. Wife tried to book but they don't let dogs into the restaurant area. There is the same(ish) menu in the bar but they don't take bookings in the bar area. We'll play it by ear.

We understand , from our local rag, that Arsenal weren't keen on Patino going out but his Dad was insistent.

Thanks everyone for your helpful advice. I think a couple in the Golden Cross, perhaps a swift one in the Town Wall then a lift up to Byatt's (Bryatts?) to finish and a walk to the ground. Is Byatt's difficult with colours (shirt & scarf)? We're two 62 year olds with no inclination towards...

Our lot think it will be a tough game. This from one post on our AVFTT message board: "Tough game. Coventry only off to a slow start as they had home games cancelled and took them a bit longer to get match fit and gel. "Hamer is quality. O’Hare back from injury. Gyorkeres a very good forward...

Yates has scored three braces in the last 4 games. Patino is really starting to click in the side. Play with the determination we had against the knobbers and you'll be in a tough game. However, play like we did against Hull and you'll walk it.
