Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Wednesday 24th Apr

Every time people slag off the line up before hand we always seem to win. That's a still a team of good players, yes a couple square pegs in round holes, but a couple of those will all be getting their last starts for Coventry most likely.

Depending on the quality of number 10's available a flat 3 could work well for us especially in certain games. Depends what MR can get in I guess

Why would I be disappointed, I literally said I see him as part of the team 😂 different games suit different players

I love Eccles and he is very much part of our future. But I also think Torp could be a better player long term. (I agree he did a very good job with a very hard task in the first half) My post was just focused on the progression

    Fábio Tavares

Hopefully his injury isn't too bad that he can't play a part

Thought that Sheaf and Torp showed the potential to be a hello of a partnership for that hour as well today. Torp coming on seemed to make sheaf even better as he knew he had somebody that could pick out different angles. Torp was always showing and some great switches of play. Hopefully Torp...

Torps penalty was ridiculous btw. To put it top bins in that environment is unreal.

Tbf to them both they both had a massive pair of bollocks to be taking them after 130 minutes against premier league opponents. sheaf I'm amazed he stepped up. He was out on his arse at 80 mins to get through 130 odd minutes and still have the guts to take one, full respect.

I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with with the bold? I haven't said anything about decision making and it getting longer? I also haven't said that today was clear and obvious? Of course as a city fan I'm shouting that it's too harsh. All I'm saying is that it should be the only decisions...

Agreed. And torp when he came on. I think those 3 particularly showed they could make the step up.

    Kitching and Thomas

Agreed although with Binks if saddle is right and they want crazy money maybe not worth it

What about one that takes 1 minute? Or 2 minutes? You are creating ambiguity. I agree the current format is wrong. But we started out with exactly what you want, I have explained it a few times on here. For the first 6 weeks of VAR it didn't intervene once. Because it was 'clear and obvious'...

    Kitching and Thomas

Kitching had a poor game. But still think he will be a good player for us. Thomas was unbelievable and Binks second half as well very good

I genuinely couldn't be prouder of today. I really don't care about that offside/not offside. We have just gone toe to toe with the biggest club in the world, and put our name in probably most people's mouths. I have had about 30 people message me today, some of whom I haven't spoken to in...

No because clear and obvious doesn't work. This is why we have ended up in this situation, that's what it was to begin with. Your own arguement goes against you. What's considered clear and obvious? Toleration is different. My personal view, is offsides and ball in and out of play. They are...

Not sure I agree. I go the other way with this decision. It's factual it's either on or off. This should be the only decisions it gets involved in.
