    A bar named Sisu

Can't imagine them opening a bar by this name in Coventry. Worth a symbolic visit? New rooftop bar Sisu is coming to Oxford Street – and it’s got a negroni machine!

    A day without

For once, a day without company accounts, golden shares, sale of grounds, the Alan Higgs Trust, the Wasps, the Council, ground shares thirty miles from home, Arvo, Otium, a chairman taking training, administration, points deductions, text a sub, judicial reviews, battering people in court...

    Can We Stay Up?

Sadly no chance, if we hadn't dropped all those injury time points under Slade then we would definitely still have a chance. If Robins had come instead of Slade I think we'd have been ok. Now, I'd settle for not coming in the bottom two. I think we have a decent chance of avoiding bottom place...

Hopes and fears for next season

For next season - hopes and fears, on the pitch... Hopes 1. Almost entirely new squad of players 2. Majority of players aged between 21 and 30 3. Majority of players have positive experience of League 2 level 4. New, experienced goalkeeper 5. At least two new, hungry goal-scoring strikers 6. A...

    Expectations

Not saying we should be cocky, rightfully we are going to be in League 2. But let's shed this negative attitude of being in fear of every single club we play against. This eternal pessimism is far more corrosive than any cockiness about our size.

    Lee Burge

Just watched the goals. The first one, any decent keeper would have claimed or punched away. Burge just stood on his goal line like a scare crow. Motionless and helpless. Second goal was a pretty soft shot which just went through Burge as if he wasn't there. Robins - we've seen enough, please...

    Expectations

Maybe not a big team at the moment but let's not kid ourselves. Our potential fan base is a damn site bigger than most clubs in League 2 and we are a club based in a one club city which is in the top 10 biggest cities in England. I could mention that we have won the FA Cup in living memory and...

    Expectations

I agree with that. It really is make or break now, if SISU backed Robins and we got promoted out of League 2 at the first attempt then I could see a bit more optimism at all levels. If however we struggle in League 2 that is the lowest the club has been since the 19th century and I think we are...

    Expectations

If we went into League 2 next season with this squad I would expect us to really struggle and possibly be relegated into the non-League even with Robins. The quality of this squad is so poor that most of the players are National League level. Some of those who do have more quality are mentally...

    Expectations

Robins is a hell of a lot better than Slade or anyone else we were expecting. He needs the chance to totally rebuild in the close season. I'll judge him by Christmas. He needs time and support.

    Expectations

To be blunt, if we can't compete in League 2 the owners might as well fold the club and find something else to do with our time.

An urgent plea to Mark Robins

I think the bigger issue is that two totally unproven keepers were brought into the team. Both are National League level at best. I don't think Burge would be a first choice at Nuneaton or Leamington.

An urgent plea to Mark Robins

RCC is slightly better than Burge but both are unreliable and are not what we need next season

An urgent plea to Mark Robins

Mark, whatever you do next season, I implore you to find a new, experienced goalkeeper who is capable of playing 90 minutes without routinely conceding at least 2 goals (usually more) every game. And please release the two clowns who have stood in our goal this season and let them find their...

How many of the current squad

How many of the current squad would you like to see at the club next season? I would say at Stevenson, Willis and that's it. Don't expect many long lists of names!

On a more general point would be interesting to hear more about which players were nice and not at all nice off the pitch. My old man used to run one of the Coventry primary schools football trophies and would always get a Coventry player to present the trophy for the final. I recall seeing...

Borrows used to live very close to where I grew up in Stivichall, probably still does. Often saw him walking his Weimaraner in the Memorial Park. Always said hello.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Perhaps as Robins is the only manager in modern times who has left us by walking out into a better job, he wanted to put the record straight by returning to make sure this time round he's sacked like the rest of them.

    Oggy

He's 60 in September. One wonders how long he will carry on coaching beyond that. He must have made a lot of money over the years.
