Just seen he has been released by Rotherham. Been pretty decent in the past, although only 1 goal in 17 games last season in Championship. Seen he has been linked with move to Colchester (fellow L2 side). Personally I'd love to see him lead out line this season. Thoughts?

Oggy is certainly not the issue! Haven't had a truly poor goalie since Dimi Konstantopolous! Marshall, Westwood, Murphy, Burge & even RCC .... none have been poor! Lack of goals and players adjusting frequently to new managers and new teammates is why we lost so many games!

Clive Platt! No chance. Lee Clark would be ideal candidate but I doubt we will be able to afford wages or offer any real prospect of success. Carsley therefore is the front runner in my eyes.

Who's realistically going to buy Cody off us. Granted he looks half-decent but has been injured most the season and has only ever been prolific in L2. Maybe if he has a great first half of next season someone will pay up for him but I think he'll still be here come August.

And would any club be interested in Wood? He had a pretty average season when he played and has been very injury prone this season. And where wages are concerned, we bought him from League 1 so I doubt he is on the same wages as the likes of Freddy, Crainie or Clingan.

Would Herman be offered a new deal. Maybe as Player/Coach?
