    Last night

I'm still fuming and may be over reacting but. I've absolutely had it with this club and am completely gutted. Not because of the result but because I went with a mate of mine who drove down from Lincoln, picked me up on the way only to have his car smashed in by a bunch of twats which left him...

    Wasps current finances & hope

I may have imagined it but weren't the companies merged, at least in terms of administration, around 12-18 months ago? Also they released some quite limited, and unsurprisingly positive news, in December around revenue increasing which stated a profit EBITDA - albeit not enough to cover the...

    Crowd for Monday

I think it should be reasonable given the long weekend and current form. A bit gutted that we didn't win today but in hindsight not a bad result.

CRFC vs Wasps - It's happening!

Sorry to change the subject, but how was the Bears game at the Butts today? I wanted to go but the fair weather radar put me off. This rain looks bloody persistent which won't do that pitch any good at all. Either way it should be a great occasion next week to cheers the boys on as champions...

CRFC vs Wasps - It's happening!

I agree Nick. I don't want preach to people and say how they should behave but likewise I'll be taking my family and don't want the day to be spoiled by idiots. It wouldnt reflect well on either Cov team if it descends into a poor atmosphere.

CRFC vs Wasps - It's happening!

It's up to people to make up their own minds on how they should behave, however the Butts has a good atmosphere and welcomes travelling fans. Whatever people think of Wasps they should be afforded the same treatment. Just to show that CRFC are a better club. I'll probably go along with my...

    Wasps current finances & hope

Thanks OSB, the timing is odd and I don't think either paper is announcing anything new. Apparently Wasps announced that there would be new screens quite a while ago. Not sure why it is directed to CCFC supporters either to be fair? The observer story, as ever has a different twist but again...

    Wasps current finances & hope

Ah I was looking at Wasps Holdings not Wasps Finance. If you look at the Wasps holdings stuff looks like the Secretary has been disposed of. Either way, seems like the accounts will be out soon and we will see how they are doing.

    Wasps current finances & hope

Just looked at companies house and it says that the next accounts are not due until the end of this month? Do accounts have to be submitted months ahead of the deadline? That being said I'm sure we've usually seen the accounts by now so they are probably later than usual.

ricoh grows in value......according to wasps

I don't know, was it not restricted for parking? Maybe they had no walk up tickets? They are in control of that I suppose.

ricoh grows in value......according to wasps

Probably not events in the hall or conference suite I guess? I.e. The harry redknapp do?

ricoh grows in value......according to wasps

I suppose ACL/Wasps would receive a fine or threat to their license if the attendance is more than 10k and therefore I don't blame going on the premise that 30k tickets are on sale therefore parking restrictions should apply. What would happen if ACL said there are no parking restrictions and...

    Ding ding - round 2

Given that SISU have been granted permission to amend the appeal and submit new evidence, I'm sure they will feel pleased with today's work. They couldn't have asked much more. I also wonder if they want to use mediation to force a better rental deal and on a shorter term??

    Ding ding - round 2

The problem with mediation is, the council have no money, Wasps have no money and both will feel they've done nothing wrong and should pay nothing. Whilst Joy thinks Wasps should pay the council £29m and a good chunk of that should head there way in compensation... I can't see either Wasps or...

    Ding ding - round 2

If SISU win, what happens? Wasps are forced to pay the council £29 million. If they can't (as they probably can't) then what... Wasps walk away and ACL is left to be dissolved or purchased with a £29m debt associated with it (which is unlikely). The lease could go back to the council, however...

Cost of watching putting young adults of

The problem is that the Premiership is now populated by primarily foreign owned clubs. If anything brand "Premiership" is only going to become further estranged from the rest of the professional game. I don't think there is a quick fix either because handing out more money would just alert...

Cost of watching putting young adults of

There is a lot of competition for entertainment nowadays, a lot of it (not all legal) available for free or close to it. Four games of football buys an Amazon prime or Netflix membership for a year... Most people live on all the wage coming in to the household, which restricts ability to...

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

At the time the value of the business was less than the amount borrowed so even if the bank loaned the money, it certainly wouldn't be loaned with that rate of interest.

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

I've got to agree with Grendel, it is probably only operating profit, and only those who are competing in Europe year in year out can be anywhere near making a real profit. Player values in the Premiership will distort this, as will sponsorship deals such as Etihad which help mask financial...

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

You're getting a bit picky to be fair Nick, ultimately the club have secured some support for the academy and that was what I was getting at. Which is good news as it's something to be pretty proud of.
