Confirmed by a mate who works in the ticket office.
Can see loads missing out at this rate.
So every single season ticket holder has bought their full allocation of tickets this morning? Of course they have...
I mean me and my buddies have wrapped up 72 tickets, (which is not bad considering the lack of games been to)
We all just chipped in for a half season ticket(s) and stormed the office early doors.
Feel bad for genuine fans who are not necessarily ST holders.
p.s I dont feel that bad, Ill have a drink or two for the FUCKING LOT! WHEYYY
doubtful. there is top tier to be sold yet? lol
18k is what i heard last. that sounds realistic
Don't shoot the messenger guys. This has been confirmed by a reliable source.
Thing is there is a lot more ST holders now than initially thought.
Thus making the numbers ambiguous.
I can honestly see 32000 sold easily.
i wonder how busy tongiht and tommrow will be? after that it will grind to a halt till priority 2 come in
*cough* BULLSHIT *cough*
11,000 according to the club BREAKING: 11,000 Wembley tickets sold to Coventry City fans within hours
11000 sold at 2pm according to les reid
Someone posted a picture on twitter. A screensjot stating he had bought 3 of 25307 sold.
actually he simply says 11,000 sold 'within hours', but tweeted at 2pm
That's hard to believe considering 3k were sold by 9:40 , before the ticket office opened .
Almost 6 hours later just a further 8k ?? Don't sound right
In for a bumper crowd next home game then
i think its over 15k personally.
someone go on ticket master and count each seat lol
Yep. All these brand new City fans should be in attendance shouldn't they now.
Should make for a fantastic atmosphere.
Not really that hard to believe. Lots of people were online at 9am and sales would slow down after the first couple of hours
Fooking plastic fans coming out of the woodwork again!
ST holders have until March 6th to get their tickets so the most they can sell is season ticket holders x6. I know a number waiting until end of the month when they get paid so I doubt very much if anywhere near 32000 have gone yet. But we will sell out, that's a certainty.
If we do do we get allocated extra ?
What's a plastic fan ?
its possbile. maybe another 5k or so
Well however many we've sold pretty much all the decent seats are gone
Not sure what has gone online and on the phone (but judging by the people who are queuing with me at BPA cuz the system went down). But word from the office is 13k sold! That number came out about 10 mins ago.
And to sell 32k most season ticket holders would have bought their full allocation and as their especially still about 500 here waiting, I'd say your just a little off the mark with 32k

Seems to match up with the 11k before
The most common species are usually spotted on Sir Matt Busby Way meandering around with a selfie-stick........
....the plastic ccfc fan is a rare beast indeed......last seen at the charity shield 1987......believed to be extinct....
As someone said before on here, there will be a huge rush and grab for tickets and then there will be a stack for sale all over Cov from people who couldn't actually shift their allocation of 6 when it came to it. I've been offered access to about 32 tickets so far but I'll only be needing 2 unless I put on a bit of weight over the next two months !
well you are eating your nopm words so maybe you will get fat lol
Humble Pie is very calorific
Will we sell more Wembley tickets in a day than have managed to sign the SISU out petition so far?
They're not extinct JHFC, they will always lie low in the woodwork, only coming out when a bit of glory hits the air.
And 4 x more than the last four home league turnouts.
We've got thousand of people who can't order a ticket on the internet. How are they going to sign an online petition?
Joking aside is this a good advert for possible interested parties in buying the club, shows big potential I believe.
Shows nothing more than many people in Coventry would love to go to Wembley for the day
