Not really into horse racing but have total respect for this man and sad (but inevitable) to see him retire. What a great professional he is and what a history of success.

Not matter what sport you are into, these types of people are inspirational to many. The injuries this man had and quite literally 'got back on the horse'

absolute superstar and legend....

Every live race event i went to i backed him no matter what horse or what odds. Many a time that proved the right choice.

Had him in the national every time i went, to no avail, so....him winning on Dont Push it in 2010 was one of the best sporting occassions of my life. Was so happy to be there, especially as i backed it at 50/1 2 months before the race.

Nice to see somebody retiring at the top of their sport rather than hanging on to make more cash.
