Ooh, this is a fun one. Of the top of my head, I'm going for...

Santana - She's not there.

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't fear the reaper.

Boston - More than a feeling.

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain (Epic, but probably overplayed).

Gong (Steve Hillage). Awesome guitarist, but if you can remember any individual Gong track, then you've not been listening in the proper state of mind.

The Buzzcocks - Boredom. (Best two string solo ever?)

The last one is to prove that I'm not (completely) an old hippy.

as far as BOC go the live album on your feet or on your knees has so many multi guitar solos to choose from but Buck Dharma on Last days of May is a cracker

I'm not exactly a fount of knowledge when it comes to music, especially contemporary stuff, but you can't beat a great riff or lead break when you're in the right mood.

Right now though, I'm going to stick on Classic FM and make a cuppa... I need to build up slowly to the loud stuff these days.

For classic rock solo's
Stairway to heaven( for both acoustic and electric solo mix)
Freebird(but not the longest version which over does a great song)

I'm more into great riff's than outright solo's that make a song great like:
The chain Fleetwood Mac
Parisienne walkways Gary Moore/Phil Lynott
Give me all your loving ZZ Top
Money for Nothing Dire Straits
