Spec for New CCFPA Webmaster

We are looking for someone who preferably:-

• Is a Sky Blue fan interested in the history and traditions of the club, especially its past players
• Prepared to join the friendly CCFPA committee of volunteers (roughly monthly meets in Coventry plus regular electronic communications) to pursue the existing aims of the Association
• Already skilled in running a web blog/vlog
• Experienced in using WordPress or similar already (or prepared to learn WP)
• Prepared to write and upload new posts as necessary plus commission, manage and edit posts from others (usually committee members) upholding the values and professionalism of the existing website to ensure CCFPA’s daily presence on the web.
• Update existing posts that regenerate on an annual basis concerning e.g. Members birthdays, Matchday Memories and CCFPA anniversaries
• Manage and further develop the newly revamped website,planned to begin early in the new season in collaboration with the site’s designer Al Brown who will provide ongoing technical support.
• Ensure website content is accurate, sensitive, up to date, well expressed and meets professional standards (e.g. copyright and other legal requirements)
• Provide assistance, if available, to the other members of the committee in our major annual events e.g. Legends Day (and other reunions), Golf Day and Legends XI matches -to generate copy/content (words & photos) for the website
• NB Former long-time webmaster Mike Young will also be available to mentor and provide support
