Is it a good idea to do it live in the street when talking about things like murder so kids can see a camera and dance in the background?

Or alternatively, kids can see it is Crime watch, know it is about a hideous and tragic murder right at the heart of their own community and indelibly etched onto the minds of most of Britain, and therefore accordingly, show respect.
