OK then, I need a cunning plan of things to do that don't involve drowning.

Beyond the Transport Museum and Art Gallery, what's worth seeing and dong that's local... that's a bit unique beyond cinema and the like?

I know you said not cinema, but have you tried the electric cinema in Brum?

Very small, drinks and snacks ordered from your seat. A good experience.

The Herbert could pass some time for half an hour, they did have a lego thing on. Basically about 10 things made out of lego, then downstairs the bit about Coventry.

Then the other rooms (was loads of stuffed animals last time I went).

Ah, you said Art. It isn't all art ;)

What about those Live Escape things that are all the craze?

OK so...

Apart from eating, and christmas shopping... what's on?

olderskyblue got closest to taste... with the notable exception of the tramway museum, which would have me murdered. Guess I'm looking for history/heritage/literature/theatre type things I guess... although am not entirely sure(!) Theatre's all about the panto bar Stratford it seems (and the Stratford stuff is *deep*, man)

I'm in danger of having to go to some Christmas Carols, so need a compromise!
