He's probably on 4 or 5 times more than their highest paid player. It's a bit like the situation Leeds ended up in with people like Fowler-they had to carry on paying most of their huge wages after they left as no-one else could afford to. Surprised that no one better than Bournemouth is interested, but then he is damaged goods now. It'll be a tough wake-up call for him in the summer when he can only attract about 2-3k p/w. We need a Championship club to pick him up really don't we by the sounds of it. Would have thought that League 1 would have been the way to go for Freddy, but if those sorts of clubs can't afford his wages then we may well be stuck with him for quite a while longer.
