It’s the regulatory body with ‘full power’ that I find a little disconcerting. This could actually have the counter effect of actually putting more clubs out of business, because I imagine that some teams have to operate a certain way financially, and have done for a long time.

By that logic we should have let the banks crack on with their risky investing and little oversight or regulation because that's how they have to operate. Not like it could send the entire industry into a death spiral is it...?
