He hasn't looked all that healthy for a while, I read that he collapsed.

Any suggestion of what's happened to him? Hope the bloke is alright, always felt he was unfairly maligned as a manager and a man (as Graham Taylor was before him for different reasons).

Responding well to the surgery apparently. Sounds heart related.

Unfortunately, there is no speedy recovery from a heart attack.
And it usually means a change in lifestlye, medications, diet, exercise etc.
