Sounds like a decent Centre Mid has really made a different, only going by the radio so maybe misled but sounded like he controlled the game.

It's amazing how a manager with a brain can make such a difference, we've been crying out for a decent midfielder all season, Mowbray's only been here 5 mins and has solved the issue.

He does seem to have come in and immediately identified the main issues both tactically and available personnel. He also mentioned that they had no confidence at all, hopefully that should be changing now.

I thought he was a winger?

I've not seen him play yet (or managed to listen to a game he's been involved in) but I thought he was a wide player.

Midfield is his best and preferred position but can also play out wide

Ward was quality tonight.Let Fleck have more freedom so we dominated the midfield. It's the premier league loans that seem to make the difference to teams in this league not Bournmouth reserves loans.

Took 5 minutes for Mowbray to address an issue which Pressley never addressed in about 6 months, I don't think Pressley even realised we even had a problem in midfield.

He did, so he brought in 600 strikers to play as wingers....

He was excellent tonight. Exactly the type of player I've tried to describe us needing.

Fleck was good as well. Looks far more up for it under TM.

I think just been allowed to play the role his was signed to play that has done it for Fleck.
When he was signed it was to play alongside a defensive midfielder who allows him to create.

He had the look of a proper footballer tonight, stood out a mile off. Gave us impetus and energy in the middle of the park. Clear Motm for me.

Fantastic tonight the new lad. Didn't look great against chesterfield but tonight was brilliant along with fleck and yes we dominated the midfield.

Still need a tall powerful presence but he is a short term fix sure.

Was not at the game but it sounded like Ward is taking the corners and free-kicks and is not much good at it. Don't we have one decent corner taker or free-kick specialist?

Ward was excellent last night, always ready to receive the ball and I can only remember him getting caught in/wasting possession once all game. Fleck played really well too and the team performance was unrecognisable from just a couple of weeks ago at Barnsley. First time for a long while it was a good full 90 (95) minute performance not a good half/bad half or a decent 20 min spell.
