It seems that a fair few southern based Wasps fans aren't that keen on CCFC either.

Just shows they don't like a bit of publicity against them...

He has a point. I mean what has Rooney's earnings got to do with Haskell having a dispute with a cov fan. The fact Haskell helped England beat the Aussies also has nothing to do with it. These two things don't mean that he's not a bellend.

The money thing is always brought up as they are jealous of footballers salaries but it's market forces, I shouldn't imagine anybody in the far or Middle East has even heard it ever seen anything about Haskell where as millions will know Rooney so he gets the big money. Rugby is a minority sports mainly played by toffs and the world isn't that interested in it.

What do you think he meant by this part of the comment? Is there more bad news for the club on its way?

Seems more likely than he received abuse which only he heard despite it being in a busy and crowded place.

If he'd have received genuine abuse we would have heard about it now by fans who seen it.

You pretend you are looking at it from an unbiased view as if that somehow strengthens your argument but anyone who knows your posting history knows you are chatting shit when you say you are looking at it with no bias.

Sorry I was just putting my wasps kit away.

Right better get on with bashing anything Wasps related. Then I might be able to look at this situation more clearly and accept that the England Rugby captain randomly starting calling Cov fans mugs.

    That makes far more sense.

    Cheers

    Nick do you really think
Wasps fans from London are sitting worrying about what Public Relations they get here in Coventry.

I am saying if they heard their captain got abused by some Cov fans and he retaliated by calling them mugs.

Do you think they are sitting there thinking shit this is bad publicity better get on there and defend him so we get better PR.

Or do you think they are just sticking up for one of their most important players?

Do you mean like the 3 Wasps fans who have signed up already?

    I meant Wasps in general.

If you have a read, I have been trying to get across the point there are more than 1 sides to it from the start by trying to find out what was actually said.

Wasps as a business I totally agree with you, they wont want the PR.

But your reply was to someone talking about southern fans mouthing off. Hence why I said what I said.
I hope you find out what was said.
If he has been gobbed off at then calling people mugs to me is pretty restrained. I am never one to jump down the throats of sports stars who bite back. People seemed to think because they are famous or professionals that they have free reign to abuse them. Then go nuts when they get a bite back.
I find it bit far fetched that he also seemed to imply about us finding out "what mugs we are"......
Also the rumours about disabled fans
    (If you get my gist)

Again, I've been asking what was said about a disabled fan or too him on the thread.

Was it that the person he replied to was disabled in some way, rather than his reply being about his disability.

I'd be the first one for some wasps rage, but we don't know what was said in both directions.
