Up here in Sheffield they have a goalkeeper called Kirkland bench warming because they have another Keeper called Westwood.
Perhaps Wednesday would allow Kirkland out on loan with a short term recall option (you would) in order that he doesn't get rusty.
Or we could keep with whatever have....

I'd welcome him back. Would worry that he'd be an ex player who has 'unfinished business' with Coventry, and it would fall flat like every other returning player.....

Plus, how would Pressley manage the Allsopp-must-play deal then.....? :(
Easy, SP to give him a good kick in the shins and get his 2 Bournemouth buddies to carry him back to the seaside in a Sedan chair. Welcome back Chris.......

To be honest I watch the Football League show and all our ex players seem to be playing well.
We've given away cheaply so many players under these idiots.
Just wish Pressley would start to tell us how it really is.

It's a catch 22. Give a player a long contract so that we can potentially get a fee (Bell,Barton etc) then we can be stuck paying wages for however long, short contract (Moussa) and they go for nothing.

Kirklands a good call but murphy is also bench warming isnt he? We desperatley need a keeper who will boss a defence aswell as do his job well for times when we lose reda as it appears without him we are lost. Surley he needs to appoint a specialist defence coach that would help. Id love to see kirkland come back

Doubt Murphy would come back. We had our chance and didn't take it.

Almost certain he'd have taken a decent contract offer from us (and likely to have been on reduced terms to his previous contract but when your in your 30's you have to expect that in football) but we didn't.
