Do you think Robin's will give him a chance up front? If I was Macca I'd have gone to Robins the minute training was over and asked if there was a chance I could prove myself as a striker.

I mean that's what he started off as and he isn't a winger by any stretch of the imagination. Doesn't have the pace that's required. Maybe a Macca, McGoldrick partnership up front?

I would agree Richie Gunns, I would go with the exact same logic as you, always thought we should try him up front.

Gets my vote ! :)

I just realized, how funny would it be for commentators if we had a 4-3-3 with McSheffrey, McDonald and McGoldrick up front lol All the Mc's lol

Mcsheffrey hasn't played up front barring the odd game since Eric Black 2003-04 season. Every single manager has played him in an attacking midfield/winger role, are they all wrong?

I think Robins will play with wingers, hence the signing of Moussa. Not necessarily today though, as he's not had long to work with the players so might not make too many changes today, but I think he will play with a couple of wide men which probably means Macca on the left.

In response to Stupod07

In fairness, how many of those managers did well? I think McSheffrey is past it personally, though i would love him to prove me wrong!

Interesting team selection today with Macca going up front. Kilbane left back, Brown in for edge and Billy Daniels in for Barton.
