Slightly erratic with the verse structure from the original but I think you'll get the gist.
Since he called it a day, all that's left is a coach of grey,
and yet more fans who say that they'll no longer pay,
to watch a team that finds it so HARD TO SCORE,
but uncannily, is good at EKING OUT A DRAW.. Woah, oh, oh, oh..!
Since he called it a day, some people are saying that he should have stayed,
yeah just like whooping cough or the bubonic plague,
that he would have found some MIRACULOUS CURE,
to make Tudgay not look shite and maybe EVEN SCORE - if only once or twice.....
Since he called it a day, we've only gone and won and flippin eck away!
they say the players did it out of love for the gaffer today,
AND THE DREAMS HE HAD!
but I'd say it was more to do with Venus LEAVING OUT THE VLAD.. Woah, oh, oh, oh..!

and thanks for briefly making us think that we might make the play (offs)
