Ok so there is a realisation here now that we are not going to be overwhelmed with big signings, we just don't have the money to do it. The reality is that we had these kind of promises before anyway and other than when Marlon King initially signed, we were by and large let down. We will definitely get a half decent keeper in, probably 2, most likely Murphy who is reputable and will do a good job for us. We have a lot of promising players coming through, some of whom we have never / barely seen play (Bigirimana & Thomas) and a guaranteed style of play that is going to try to entertain week in week out, taking all competitions seriously and giving youngsters who play well enough, the chance to hold down their place.

So even if we start the season with Murphy (hopefully), Hussey, Turner Cranie, Keogh, Clingan (c), Deegan, Bell, Baker, McSheffrey (yes up front for the sake of the example) and Juke, I am going to be 100% behind what AT is looking to do. We have talked for long enough about youngsters not being given the chance, well this is the year we will probably see more of them than any recent seasons. Who is to say that it won't have a highly positive and energetic feel to the team.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a half decent striker on a free and maybe a gem unearthed from League 1 or 2. Looking forward to Gunnarsson making up his mind, AT announcing REAL signings and knowing the squad that we will have going into next year. Lets forget the stories that CT are constantly regurgitating (they seem to be the one's that are least likely to want us to succeed at the moment) and get the attendances up. Roll on Leicester City at the Ricoh!
