SBItC are excited to launch a brand-new weekly girls football session in-line with the F. A’s “Game Plan for Growth” initiative. The initiative was recently announced by the F.A. with the aim of doubling the number of women and girls participating in football by 2020.
SBitC are keen to play their part in the initiative and currently provide free after school football sessions for girls as part of the Premier League Primary Stars project, as well as free after school sessions for secondary school age girls under the Premier League Girls Football program.

The new weekly football sessions will make football more accessible to girls in Coventry and Warwickshire. Girls of all footballing abilities are welcome in school years 1 through to year 6 with the focus of the sessions around a fun, friendly introduction to football as well as improving skills.

Alongside the weekly sessions there was a holiday camp specifically for girls, held during the Easter holidays where girls welcomed to come along and improve their skills whilst socialising and making new friends.
