Sky
has released a line of limited-edition football club remotes for its Sky+HD boxes.

The controllers features the badges and colours of seven Premier League teams, including Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

The promotion was launched to generate interest in the Sky Sports channels as the Premier League title race comes to a head.

Last month, the broadcaster overhauled its Sky+ homepage and launched a refreshed version of its electronic programme guide (EPG).

Sky claims that the update will be the first of many, with future patches adding a smarter recommendations engine and making it easier to discover relevant content.

The football-themed remote controls are available to purchase from the Sky website, priced at £32.
