Seems It was over a couple of years back really ,and some opportunist has made a killing ,where else has that happened recently .

Hate to see these bastions of community during 60s-70s-80s and yes having a few pints together descend Into that trough of remoteness and

Industrial decline of the last twenty years or so.

Had many a do there, always a crack. not many around anymore but also a distinct lack of 'drinking' pubs also.

Spent a fair bit of time in there too, my son used to play for them and mates of mine played for them back in the day. It's a shame, it was always a good do there.
