Anyone watching?
Interesting insight into Beitar Jerusalem FC, and the signing of their first ever Muslim players.

Is It the same Gaydemak who was linked to us before taking over at Portsmouth?
Seems he did it as a social experiment to expose racism/Islamaphobia in Israel.
Gives a real insight into the dynamics of a club where the ownership, the terraces and the Club itself are not aligned.
Worth watching on catchup for anyone who missed it BBC four.

Well I've got to say that was interesting!
The fall out, they managed to hold out for a draw in the final game of the season, away to an Arab team in a hostile atmosphere to avoid relegation.Tasty.
Gaydemak gave the club away and handed himself in to go to prison in France for money laundering.
The chairman and manager were fired, the two Chechyan Muslim players went home and the fans group who were so hostile "la familia", turned into a right wing political party.
I'd sign the goalie up on both ability and morals being one of a few who tried to make the players welcome along with an Argentinian and a couple of Croatians
