Oils so yesterday!
I'm behind him, I know he's been involved in the past and it didn't go well but I'm prepared to giver him a chance.
Cherry picking bits from what he said I also think he's realistic about where he can take the club, which is more reassuring than someone making Premiership in 5 year type predictions.
Hoffman recognises that "
There are some historical relationships that make things difficult"
Just listened to him and came across very professionally in my opinion.
He does seems to show his passion for the club and the city.
Kudos to him.
All businessmen make mistakes and majority learn from it and I am sure he will.
So I am happy to give him a lot of slack if it helps the club he and we love.
I haven't heard it but sounds like he's won quite a few over! All positive, now we just need the "For Sale" sign to go up!
Can we get the thread title changed to 'Lets all say how nice Hoffman is' or something similar
some posters very disappointed they cant moan today
You're referring to all the people who were looking forward to bashing the SISU lovers?
everyone should be neutral like me
You and your typos! It's 'neutered'.
We all know exactly what he'd say. The offers are nowhere near the level required and they need to see proof of funds and know who they're dealing with.
Funny how he never mentioned that he's gave up trying unlike yesterdays reports
It's a shame for me really because, even though I've been saying I question the bid because I'm unsure of Hoffman's past and want the best for the club, I really just love SISU. Properly love them. I'd stab a baby for SISU.
even in jest, that's a worrying turn of phrase!
I'd stab SISU for free.
In jest? I'm infanticidally serious.
You can't stab sisu. it's a way of life. Get rid of one and another sisu comes to take over. Vive la sisu.
Sounds like Terminator, can't we just melt them?
The only way to get rid of them is by speaking the special words in the book of the dead and send them back in time to spend a life fighting demons with a shotgun arm.
you labelled them wrong.
It should have said 'Gary' Hoffman and 'Alan' Shearer.
I don't think I could abide having that little hair island, I'd shave the lot. Steve McLaren persisted with his admirably.
Think they're referred to as the Isle of Wight.
Not heard that before Wingy - like it (may be heading for one in a year or two!)
McLaren almost got a full combover out of his hair island.
Separate names with a comma.
