Ricoh Arena, 11 August 2013. Charity match organised by the Coventry City Former Players Association ( http://www.ccfpa.co.uk/ ) to celebrate 130 years of the Sky Blues. It raised money for Acorns Children's Hospice, Cancer Research UK and other local charities. The event was supported by The Sky Blue Trust and The Coventry City Diamond Club. The match was organised before Coventry City's owners SISU/OTIUM aided by the Football League relocated the club to Northampton Town's Sixfields stadium. By coincidence, Coventry City's first so-called 'home' match kicked off one hour after the legends match. The attendance at the Ricoh was around 8,000 with a paltry 2,204 attending the game at Northampton.
